Colin and his team are amazing. Everyone we interacted with did an incredible job of sharing interesting facts while still keeping the experiences extremely fun. All drivers are safe, punctual, and fun. My wife and I would (and will!) recommend Winelands Guide to anyone traveling to Cape Town and/or the wine country. One of the best parts of our amazing trip!

We had a fantastic morning with Colin from Wineland Guides. He gave us a very thorough briefing so we felt safe on the e-bikes. Colin was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine industry and local area, and stopped at the most scenic spots so we could take photos and hear more about the history of Stellenbosch. We stopped at Thelema and Rainbows End for some fantastic local wines. Also travelling via bikes through vineyards gives you the most phenomenal views that you miss when travelling via car!

My wife and I used winelands tours during our time in Cape Town and Stellenbosch. We had Prince pick us up from the airport and drop us off at our destination. He was an extremely friendly face and welcoming guy on our first visit to South Africa. We then had Tim take us on a Cape Peninsula through Cape Town and then a full day tour of wine tasting through Stellenbosch. Neither of my wife or I are big wine drinkers but Tim found the perfect spots for us to enjoy both wine tasting and lunch. Both were amazing tours and Tim was extremely sweet, knowledgeable, and accommodating to us. We never met the owner Colin but he too was very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. If you want to have amazing tours, at your own pace and requests, these guys will make sure everything is perfect. Thank you so much winelands tours. Whenever we come back we will call on you again.

I can’t imagine our trip to Cape Town and the Cape Winelands without using Winelands Guide. We spent a few days with Tim and Collin on the full day Cape Peninsula tour, private wine tour in Stellenbosch, e-bike tour through Franschhoek, and transfers to and from the airport.
They were always punctual, flexible, SO knowledgeable, and it felt like touring with friends by the end. They do such a great job of making each experience feel personal. They made everything so easy and fun, and we could not imagine seeing everything we did and getting all the context and history in a better way. We could not recommend their services more for couples, friends, or families looking to explore Cape Town or the Winelands in a fun, personal, and informative way.

Winelands guide is a must for your visit to Cape Town. They are a one stop shop for everything—airport transit, amazing day tours, and personalized excursions in the Winelands region. Colin, Prince and Tim are amazing— they’ll show and tell you so much about Cape Town. They are knowledgeable and flexible to their guests wants and needs. I really appreciated how they wouldn’t just take us to generic vineyards— they really made our wine tours catered to us. They truly treated us like their friends and family— so personable and fun, not to mention the vehicles were clean and modern. I would highly suggest using this company for all of your Cape Town travel needs.

We had Tim as our guide for our private full day Winelands tour. First, Tim was such a pleasure to have as a guide. He’s incredibly kind, personable and knowledgeable about South Africa and specifically the winelands. I wanted to go to some “hidden gems” and he delivered! This was definitely one of the most memorable days for us on our honeymoon. And all thanks to the company and Tim!

We did both the Cape Peninsula tour and best of Winelands tour. Both tours were absolutely incredible and we could not have asked for a better start to our honeymoon. Colin and Tim were amazing guides, and made our experience feel like we were spending the full day with friends. My wife and I highly recommend using Colin and his team. They are the best!

We can’t say enough great things about Colin and his team! From the moment we met him, we had such a blast with him. We spent 3 days with Colin - 1st on the Cape Peninsula tour, we would have never seen any of the things he showed us. He was so knowledgeable and made our trip so fun! We took a ride on Chapman peak, went to cape of good hope, boulders beach to see the penguins and had lunch in Simons town. All incredible. Table mountain was closed due to weather but the next day we had a day wine tour in stellenbosch booked, and Colin went above and beyond to make sure we were able to go to table mountain before leaving Cape Town! The stellenbosch wine tour was awesome - he took us to all “non-mainstream” wineries and was very knowledgeable about his wines as well. The next day we did the same thing but in Franschoek. Colin is THE must book tour guide in Cape Town & the winelands - will be forever recommending him!!!

My husband and I used winelands guide during our stay in Cape Town for our honeymoon. We did the full day peninsula tour with Prince and had the BEST time. He took us absolutely everywhere in a private car stocked with water. During our drive, he told us all about the history of the country and about his experience growing up and working in South Africa. We also used winelands guide as our personal guide around the winelands. We visited stolleboch and franschhoek with Collin. He knew all the locals and took us to the BEST wineries! If you’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy and fun guide to truly see it all, I would highly recommend!!

Our driver recommended Winelands Guide and so glad she did. Prince was our guide and we had a great day - thank you Prince! We did some customizing in the daily plan to meet what we wanted to see. Prince did a great job bringing it home for us. Was a great day and we saw some beautiful country!
