We had a blast and Colin played a big part in the wonderful holidays we had. I planned a whole week holidays for my family and friends in South Africa and Colin was their everyday guide and driver. He was helpful and involved from the very beginning. He advised me on the schedule, gave me a hand with booking activities or restaurants and has an incredible positive energy. By the end of the week, he was truly part of our group. Thank you so much Colin for everything you have done for us. We highly recommend Winelands Guide!

I was communicating with Colin from almost 12 months before we visited. Three days winery touring was planned, a mixture of new wineries “New Kids on the Block”, traditional wineries and additional estates suggested by Colin.
Collection from the cruise terminal was arranged and Prince arrived promptly. On our way to our guesthouse in Franschoek Prince filled us in on his experience and we confirmed pick up times etc.
Day one with Prince was a revelation, our particular favourite was Stony Brook, but the other three on day one were also excellent Paserene being a close second.
We then had a day off during which we visited the Franschoek Motor Museum (Fantastic).
Our second days tour was spent with Colin visiting some more traditional estates including Lanzerac and three others - lunch at Rust en Verede being outstanding! Dropped off at our second guest house in Constantia and day three with Prince once more for another great day.
Cannot recommend Winelands Guide highly enough - superb in every way.

Get this tour with Tim! Tim provided an exceptional experience during our Cape Peninsula tour! His deep knowledge of the area, combined with a genuine passion for sharing its history and hidden gems, made the journey incredibly engaging. Tim's personalized attention to our interests ensured we explored both iconic landmarks and off-the-beaten-path spots, creating unforgettable memories. Colin was a true gem. My husband and I visited South Africa for our honeymoon and WOW Colin made our trip unforgettable!! His kind and friendly demeanor instantly made him feel like a friend we have known for years. We did a half day walking tour and a full day guided wine tour with Colin. Both were custom based on our preferences and he was so flexible in making changes. Colin went above and beyond and his passion for Cape Town and the Winelands is undeniable. He is so knowledgeable and passionate! We can’t wait to come back to South Africa and book another tour with Colin!

We spent three days with Colin, Prince, and Colleen on our trip to South Africa, and also used Winelands Guide for all of our airport transfers where we were able to meet George as well. Everyone was truly fantastic to spend time with; they are so knowledgeable about everything South Africa and work very hard to make sure you are having a personalized and memorable experience with them. Throughout our days there, we did the Cape Peninsula Tour, the Table Mountain & City Tour, and the Best of the Winelands Tour. All were unique and unforgettable. We cannot recommend Colin and the Winelands Guide enough, and will working with them again the next time we are able to visit South Africa!

Awesome e-bike experience! Colin took us around for an easy riding four hour tour. You can tell he grew up here, he virtually knows everything and everyone. The two wine tasting were amazing and included in the price.

After waiting 2 years for this trip Colin has made the adventure worth waiting for. He was able to curate the trip to our needs and wants. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. The vehicles were very clean and well kept and all arrivals were prompt! If you are looking for a private tour guide he is the one to go to. He will make you feel warm and welcomed. We are already planning a family trip!

My husband and I used Colin and Winelands Guide for 3 Tours and all of our hotel/airport transports while away in South Africa.
Colin and team are extremely knowledgable and we learned a ton on our Cape Peninsula tour as well as both our wine tours. Colin and team were prompt and reliable as well!
Would 1000% recommend Colin and Winelands Guide for your trip to SA.

We did a cape peninsula tour and two wine tours with Colin from Winelands Guide. It was by far the best choice we made. Colin took us to great spots along the peninsula and knew exactly where we should take the best photos. The wine tours he took us on were even better! Because he lives in the area he knew the best wineries to go to for great wine, great food and great views. I’d recommend Colin to anyone and everyone going to Cape Town. Thanks for showing us such a great time!
