Heritage collection bought by Dr Anton Rupert and left as a legacy for us to appreciate and see Works of art valued at millions is displayed in the specially built huge gallery . A catalogue gives insight on the collection on display which varies from Famous painters Weavers and sculptures . One of the many highlights of Stellenbosch but the... More

This is in stellenbosch and is a great place to spend time looking at both modern and old art. There are lots of bronzes which are very good There is a small entrance fee but well worth it

Very well kept. Paid R20pp but worth the money. Lots of security because there is a painting worth R35milj and many more to see. Enjoyed it. But not more than that to see. Clean and well kept garden also.

The Rupert Museum is most probably the best kept secret of Stellenbosch. It has wonderful collections of South African art is a tranquil setting. If you want to escape the tourist rat race of Stellenbosch and want an hour of tranquility this is the place to visit.

We had a nice time walking around the place but our experience got so much better when we joined one of the tour groups that walked into the place. apparently you can take a tour guide to take you around Stellenbosch. The guy has given so much interesting information on sculptures and pictures that made us completely amazed.

An upmarket venue for art lovers. A must see. A good, tasteful collection of South African masters and other artists.

The term "museum" is, in my opinion, totally incorrect! It should be referred to as the 'Rupert Art Collection' gallery for that really is, what it is! The expansive venue is magnificent - both architecturally & landscape-wise - & easy to locate (almost an extension of famous Dorp Street, away from the CBD side of town). Even though I'm not...
