My wife Luci and I visited Val de Vie primarily for some lunch and we where so taken by the estate that we bought a plot of land for our semi-retirement! But back to the lunch, this was very well presented and prepared, the fish was fresh, tasty and BIG! Luci had a salad which she raved about. The service... More

Seminars about economics and investment are typically hosted at formal conference centres or city hotel venues. Was a refreshing change to host a business gathering at such a charming venue. Function room has great views of the polo field and the white interior (best suited to the many weddings hosted there) was an elegant change from the mainstream business meeting... More

What a wonderful venue. We enjoyed a truly special wedding and reception at Val de Vie club house. The setting is spectacular and view of the Paarl mountains is really special during the late afternoon sun set. The reception was equally special , and the 3 course dinner top class. This is a special spot and highly recommended.

I visited SA for a wedding and I was able to enjoy the gorgeous setting at val de vie, the staff was lovely at the club house. However we stayed inside the estate at Villa Inze. The house was beautiful and the help was very nice, but unfortunately i broke a glass with barocca the last morning and it landed... More

Address is not an Issue here.Destination is. Val de Vie stands out as an institution to be visited every second. The Restaurant with a Live Band, reminds you that it is a destination. Remember there is a Polo field outside. No wonder Sentebale was held there!!! Full Marks to the Team. Security is very tight!!!! Next time you in Franschoek, Crawl... More

We hosted our wedding at Val de Vie wine and polo estate end of Feb 2016. The place is amazing, our guests cannot stop complimenting about the venue. The place is well taken care off, grass is well maintained, very neat, very professional. The staff is very friendly, willing to help. I would recommend this place for everyone looking to... More

We attended a wedding at the polo club in December. It was more like a once-in-a-lifetime event. The food was fantastic and the views spectacular. Well worth a visit if you are in the area - especially if you can catch a polo match.

Admittedly we were guests of the polo function but the restaurant served excellent canapés and local wines. The sparkling wine is amongst one of the best in South Africa, and the Sauvignon Blanc very very good. The views are spectacular and expansive. The polo field can be a nice soccer field too. Wonder if they host other sports? The staff... More

We stopped off at Val de Vie before visiting a friend in Franschhoek. The venue is beautiful - expansive polo field surrounded by mountains. Lunch menu was simple but we thought very good value and well prepared and presented. I had battered fish and chips and husband had the pulled pork sandwich, both were well under R100, not always the... More
