Bella-Mia is a short drive out of Oudtshoorn in a lovely area. She makes some wonderful pottery that includes decorative as well as useful dishes. I bought a large bowl and some coffee cups. Would’ve liked to bought more. It ended up being the only things I bought in Oudtshoorn for the quality and uniqueness. Cash only. Highly recommended. …

I'm happy that we found Bella-Mia. There were som many nice items. Unfortunatelly I couldn't buy that much because I live in Sweden and my luggage was full. We spent some time talking to the owner, Mariana, and she was so nice and friendly and told us the story how she was thinking when she was creating some items that I bought. A lovelly lovelly lady. …

We recently camped nearby and I happened to find Marianna Serfonteins studio on a lovely morning run past their farm. We stopped by on our last day in oudtshoorn to have a peek. Mariana was there and greeted us at her studio. Her work is gorgeous and very well priced. I bought this beautiful salad bowl for R180 and a kiln reject plater (tiny crack) which I loved for added character for R110 The 750 ml bottle of olive oil was also well priced at R95 Make sure you visit. On our explorations we found Bella Mia by accident and what a great treasure find. Bella Mia is a small Olive Oil producer and the Lady of the Manor makes the most gorgeous pottery pieces. Well worth the visit to pick up a couple of stunning collectables and a good bottle of Olive Oil.…
