We will go back for sure!!Wilgewandel holiday farm is a fantastic place between the mountains to relax.Great food and very friendly people!! We stayed in one of the holiday chalets for four nights. The food is excellent and service is quick, with regular visits by friendly staff. Entertainment for all children ages, well looked after farm animals to feed, rides, put-put and much more. I would also recommend there accommodation just next door with spectacular views of mountains and fields. Evenings are quiet with an outside braai ready to satisfy all braai enthusiasts. The restaurant has great food and the farm has many activities to keep the children entertained for a whole day. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. The camel ride was the best activity of the day. We will definitely be back!

My Husband & I & our 2 Kids Ages 4 & 7 Stayed at Wilgewandel Holiday Farm in October 2020. What a well run establishment.The accommodation was comfortable.Beautiful views from our Chalet.Sadly the weather was cold so we could not use the lovely pool that was close to our chalet.So kid friendly, the kids loved riding the camels,Going on the Zip Line,feeding the wide array of animals.We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good and the shop had lots for us to choose from.Well situated, we visited the Cango Caves.
Thank you to all the staff! Ria was a Gem,so accommodating to all our needs.We will definitely be back.Thank you!!!!!!A must to visit.

What an amazing place to visit. We are regular visitors there. Every visit we experienced great hospitality from the staff, especially Ria and Peet. My partner and I are rock climbers. Wilgewandel farm is really close to Oudtshoorn Main Crag, so conveniently located. We stayed at Wilgewandel for three amazing weeks. The views in the morning and sunset are spectacular. I loved seeing the cows right outside our balcony in eating peacefully in the field. It's so nice to stroll around the farm and see all the different animals. Our room was clean and had everything we needed for self-catering stay. It was quite cold for several days and we were very cosy at night with the electric blanket. We also had breakfast and a couple of dinners at the restaurant which was very nice. There was wifi and cell phone reception which was great. Ria was very kind - checking in which us, and making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

The staff makes everyone feel welcome, food is fleshly prepared and absolutely great, the shop is awesome too with gifts for everyone and not expensive at all. You can do a whole lot of activities including feeding of animals, paint ball shooting, swimming and slides, riding on camels and much much more. The kids are safe too with a kiddies corner play ground while you are nearby enough. The chalets are great too, very neat and private. It's an home away from home. We have spend a week there in December 2020, and me and my husband went there in February 2021 for our 20 year anniversary and we will definitely book again. This is absolutely the place to be when you want to be away from the city and just chill in the mountains.

Friendly staff, good service, value for money, relaxed environment
The kitchen made sure that my food did not contain any of the allergy items without making a fuss or excluding me from also enjoying a meal there.
There is so much to do for families with young children but grandma and oupa can sit back and enjoy a relaxing time as well.
Zip line over the river, kamer rides, Ypu name it they have most of it

We had a wonderful, fun-filled weekend. The farm has entertainment and activities for both adults and children. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, our accommodation was very comfortable with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend Wilgewandel to anyone

Super friendly attendants; fresh air; camel riding; donkey cart riding; pedal cars, loads of animals; scenic views; reasonably priced food and a must for families with kids looking for day activites. We lodged at the beautiful De Oude Meul Country Lodge and made a day trip to Wilgewandel. Highly recommended!

I will re visit Wilgewandel yearly now. The stay in their self catering unit was a dream. This is exactly what you need to switch off from city life. The staff and management were extremely helpfull and friendly. Food was great. Would recommend this place to anyone. I miss the place already.

What a great place for the grandkids, playing with the animals, swimming, the super tubes. Everything was just so much fun. The welcome, service and general staff are willing to go the extra mile and a half. Just be aware the are lots of ants around.
