We had a great Oyster Tour! Alex is the best and knows all about the Knysna Lagoon. The oysters were fresh and delicious. Will definitely recommend this tour to friends and family.

My boyfriend and I booked for the 3pm Oyster Cruise, and it was the highlight of our time in Knysna! We had the boat to ourselves, as we were the only booking. Our guide, Alex, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the wild life, tides, foliage, houses, and history of the area! Once we reached the Knysna heads, we turned to calmer... More

We took part in the Kynsna lagoon oyster tour and our guide was very knowledgeable and made it a great experience. This tour is well worth doing, especially if you haven't tried oysters before and you don't know where to start. The scenery was spectacular, the history and info about Knysna was very interesting.

This was a ninety minute cruise between 17.00 and 18.30 (not quite sunset) around the Knysna Lagoon, from Thesen Island to The Heads and back. There was an amount of bird-life to be seen, although nothing aquatic, and we were supplied with a couple of glasses of wine together with a generous supply of oysters. Altogether, a very pleasant way... More

We went on the sunset sail with Captain Alex. We saw a couple of seals on the way out. There was wine to drink and fresh wild oysters to eat. The view of the ocean waves coming into the bay and breaking was magnificent. We had a wonderful time!

Me and my wife did this awesome ride at Knysna. Although the name, it's not focused only on honeymooners and is not private, we joined a group of about 10 people. The tour starts at the Knysna Charter office, located in a bar, so while you wait for the boat, enjoy a beer! Once you board, the tour guide explains... More

This past weekend we went kayaking in the lagoon. We had one double kayak and one single. We went out with the tide, and it was very pleasant in the canals. Once we got to the open water, the wind picked up and it was a bit scary in a few spots, but that's just my "beginners" experience. The boat... More

Rented a double kayak for the day. Went out with the tide but there were so many boats in the water that kayaking was certainly not peaceful. The Kayak had a molded plastic seat that was incredibly uncomfortable. We kayaked around the mud flat hoping to make it to the estuary but it was way too far considering how painful... More

Beautiful and romantic! We really enjoyed the sunset cruise, the captain was a joy. The view and the whole experience in general was amazing. We received lovely wine and oysters as part of the cruise. It all was ended off with lovely champagne and a delicious seafood platter back at the restaurant. This was one of our favorite experiences on... More
