Excellent food and service and exceptionally good value, especially for Europeans (Irish). Not sure if the Brits would like it (!!) A most helpful manager arranged for our party to share a taxi back to Pezula at a time when Uber was not responding. We had a lovely evening in a beautiful setting. Would love to go back again but we are moving on to see more of your beautiful country.

We were staying close to the waterfront, so visited twice. The first was for an evening meal and we returned the following day during daylight. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and a number of shops selling all sorts of goods. The waterfront itself is pleasant and worth a visit to see the various vessels coming and going.

A good enough assortment of shops, maybe a few too many T shirts, restaurants but the highlight was a not very well advertised boat trip round the lagoon when thanks to the excellent guide we learned a lot about Knysna and nearby Brenton on Sea. Pleasant place to enjoy a drink and lunch.

The waterfront in Knysna is smaller than Cape Town one but this is worth visiting. One can try out luck hole in one from the upper deck. Live music, food joints, boat rides all available. Neat & peaceful place yet vibrant. I visited in afternoon. No idea if the evening is also safe or not. Afternoon Knysna Quays is safe to roam around as many people were enjoying over there.
To celebrate world cup football, the quay was decorated with all country flags in the entrance.
Worth visiting

We spent some time at the waterfront. Bought our souveniers. So many shops to choose from!
Really good quality. Enjoyed a coffee, while watching the world go by. Most enjoyable afternoon.

Nice variety of shops and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Lovely setting to watch all the comings and goings of the vessels in the harbour and marina.
