We were surprised how rocky the beach was, almost no sand just large round rocks everywhere.
A quick drive took us to a nicer beach.

Two beaches really / one on the right as you drive there. And one more public in the village. Lovely views. Well worth a visit from Knysna

It is always a great outing to go there. The restaurant also has great food. The parking can be a bit limited over the festive season and the beach crowded, but it is worth going there. Absolute bliss.

A nice nice beach, good for a sunbath, a bit open to wind though. Also has a restaurant there which helps if you want to spend the afternoon there

We love this beach when the wind and tide are good this has to be one of the best beaches for total chilling, great for surfing if surfs up great for wind surfing, sand karts all round a great place.
If it is windy it gets a bit rough and sand really blasts you then give it a miss for sun bathing

We always love stopping here as you can park easily by the beach and watch the sea crash over the rocks.
There is a lovely beach to walk on and really surprising there are so few people enjoying this great beach

We had previous done Brenton beach on our previous visit so we decided to check out Buffalo bay beach. It was nice and clean. It was a bit crowded when we arrived so we decided not to swim and just had lunch there.
