I do not have enough adjectives to describe this beautiful park. It is my favorite place in SA and I would return as many times as possible. This was my second visit and I was determined to walk to the visible foot bridge over the...More

We almost skipped this on our way from Knysna to Cape Town and the Winelands. It is a very quick and easy side trip off the N2 and the views alone are way more than worth the one hour it will take you round trip...More

Do not try to drive the entire Garden Route in one day. You will miss so much of the beauty. There are so many hidden places to visit along the way. So many beautiful beaches, lagoons, forest areas and more to see.

Garden route IS heaven! The most beautiful drive ever. All the small towns that come on this route are amazing. You would want to stop at each of them for pictures. We loved Storms river, knysna, George, Hermanus, Plettenberg Bay (& its beaches). One suggestion...More

There are decent dining options for afterwards and the walk is not bad if you are in moderate shape. My parents are in their 70s and in good health found it rigorous but very enjoyable. Great family day

We had a great time on the Garden Route from Port Elizabeth, three days at Addo game park at the Gorah Elephant Camp, Tsitsikamma, Knysna, and Hermanus to include the Hemel-en-Aarde. We need a good 7-8 days to do this proper justice.

This is essential, do not go to S.A. and not do this route. It is beautiful and very safe. We drove ourselves which was very good, and easy. Recommend stopping off along the route to visit the bays along the coast

Although we visited shortly after the very bad fires in Knysna it was still very pretty. The route is well-kept and lovely to drive.
