Lovely trip on a mahogany hulled "James Bond" speedboat around the Knysna Lagoon. A wonderful experience which offers a different view of Knysna, and gets you up close to the Knysna Heads and into the beautiful Featherbed Bay. Plenty of good local knowledge on offer and a friendly experience.

We weren’t sure what the weather was going to be like on our only day in Knysna so we didn’t book this trip until 3 hrs before (through TA).
It’s actually worth arriving an hour early and looking round the area the boat is docked as there are plenty of shops and restaurants. When we arrived we were told that the boat we were due to go in was being repaired so we went in an upgraded boat.
Peter introduced himself and gave us a great commentary about the area and living in SA in general. Really enjoyed the views around the ‘Heads’ and the restaurant tip Peter gave us while we were there.
It wasn’t the clearest day but we did still enjoy the scenery and seeing Knysna from the water gave it another perspective.
Great way to spend an hour.

At first I was upset that I was upgraded from Coquette to Pamela (apologies Peter😂), but it turned out to be an excellent cruise. We had gin and bubbly right up to the Heads and learned so much about the area...I've been on other cruises before but this was another level, and I'll go back soon to do the Coquette though.

I've been to Knysna and explored it on a boat before, but Magic Lagoon charters made my experience very special. Beautifully appointed boat, experienced and knowledgeable captain, attention to detail -I truly enjoyed my experience and recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy beautiful Knysna lagoon by boat.

We wanted to show our 3 boys the beautiful Knysna Heads a special place for us.
We had the most awesome experience with Peter's astounding knowledge of Knysna's history, his utmost respect for the sea and nature in general.
It was lovely sailing in a proudly owned 104 yrs old classic English river boat, an added bonus!
6 stars (if I could) for Peter and his friendly crew!
