The easy & fun way to visit the wine estates of Hermanus.

Excellent day out with wine hoppers. Relaxed and with great company, we loved every minute of our trip and would thoroughly recommend as a fun day out visiting the beautiful wineries beyond Hermanus. The set up was great and the driver was charming. Perfect day out!

A great day out!

A really good day out where you visit several wine estates for tastings. It’s good value as you can spend as little or much as you like at each tasting. Transport in the “safari-style” vehicle is good fun and the driver is quite flexible in the pick up time from each winery.

Great experience, the drivers Thobela & Asanda are excellent in their jobs and made the drives to the cellars very pleasant. 5 cellar stops with +- R80 pp and 45min at each cellar. Very professional an organised staff, and must do when in Hermanus and you have a day free!

Wonderful Wine Hoppers and super driver Thobela

Our second time with Hermanus Wine Hoppers up the beautiful Hemel en Aarde valley was as superb as our first trip a few years ago. Wonderful wine at Bouchard Finlayson, La Vierge and then tapas pairing at Creation. All amazing and made even better by our fantastic driver Thobela who really looked after us and took great care of our wine purchases! We will be back. Thank you Wine Hoppers for making this so easy and doing such a great job to promote the amazing vineyards of the Western Cape.

Brilliant experience, he was on time and took us to some lovely vineyards! Would highly recommend we managed to get to 3 different spots + creation for more wine tasting and food🍷🍷

Easter Monday wine tasting

My husband and I booked the wine hopper for Easter Monday and we had a fantastic time. We thought it might be very busy being Easter but we hit the jackpot with our own private tour. We visited 4 wine farms and Tobela our driver and guide was very friendly.

Great day out

Tobela picked us up from our hotel and took us up the Hemel en Aarde Valley, stopping at Bouchard Finlayson, La Vierge and Creation Wines where we had lunch. We hsd a great time wine tasting and learing about each wine. Tobela was very informative, made great suggestions about which wineries to stop at and looked after us very well. I really appreciated not having to drive and being able to enjoy the wines.

Good Value and friendly convenient service - would recommend

This is a great way to take in some vineyards and wine producers particularly if you don't want to drive. At 350ZR per person this is a reasonable price, this pays for travel on a safari style vehicle and as ever in SA the driver will give you a running commentary and answer all of your questions - you have to pay for wine tasting and food at individual stops. We were lucky on our trip as we were the only couple so it was effectively a private tour, we were picked up from guesthouse and our driver waited as long as we wanted at each location and we had plenty of time for taking in the scenery. We did this trip because we missed out on the Franschhoek/Stellenbosch experiences but a pleasant alternative. Booking required - this was done through our guesthouse but easy to find in Hermanus market. Stopped for very pleasant lunch/tasting at Creation vineyard.

True safari - the BIG 5! Mcc, white, rose, red, Cape ruby (port)!

We had the most amaizing time! Alfredo, our guide was just the best! He listened to our wishes and took us to lovely small wine famrms that offered just what we love.
We have done wine-route in Franschhoek, Tullbagh, Stellenbosch - and this was by far the most fun and interesting!
