Well worth a visit.... 500 people work here and some abalone take 8yrs to develop. We just went in the shop and bought beautiful jewellery at good prices... Assistant very knowledgeable

They have a ten million abalone on site at any one time, they were the first abalone farm (started 30 years ago), growing slowly in 40,000 cages. Say two hours - excellent!

We were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and knowledge of the staff and tour guide Mel at the Abalone Farm!!! You look at the ocean and these little creatures from a different view and heart! Their set up at the farm and work they do for the ocean, environment and abalone are amazing! This is a must do and must experience!! I had to have the gum boots!!!…

We found the visit most interesting and our guide informative. The abalone tasting was rather expensive however. Rather order one portion and share unless you are an avid abalone fan. The facility was a little difficult to find due to lack of signage. We discussed this with the establishment. …
