6 people attended. The service was great. The wine was great [ with meat pairing]. The ambiance was great. The weather a bit iffy. The pricing was middle upper but were severely disappointed since it was a birthday celebration. My daughter had baked a beautiful cake for her sister as a present. We were advised that if we were going to cut and eat it would cost an ADDITIONAL R600-. Scary and put somewhat of a damper on the event. None the less it should be posted on their website.

Locals must use this restaurant more. Affordable, Chef Annie Badenhorst has some unique twists to the norm. Waitress Madzima was quietly attentive. The park and picnic for family picnic is out of this world. I will be there more often. Thank you Benguela Cove for an amazing surprise

Beautiful views and a beautiful estate. However the service was not up to standard. There is no host or hostess which is a little strange that no one is there to welcome you. We made our way to the bar area on the right hand side. As we approach the bar the lady did not recognize us perhaps thinking we are just browsing but actually we were standing at the bar waiting for service. I then had to approach service first and ask for directions to the tasting room or area. Ps. she was on her cellphone while looking at us and looking down on her cell phone. The tasting experience was great, the wine was great we evens bought a few bottles of wine. The tasting experience was maybe rushed with only 2 other tables present at the time and with 3 wine tasting advisors present. Just wanted to mention that this was our experience regarding service.

I want to commend Chaminey, the lady who served us with such charm and efficiency despite the fact that she was one of only two waitresses working a busy restaurant

We had the most fantastic day at Benguela Cove - great food, wine, service and scenery topped off with a perfect evening estate tour. We celebrated our parent’s 70th birthday and the service provided by Charmonay (restaurant) and Cleeve (wine tour) was fantastic. The owners have done an amazing job with an immaculate, world class facility featuring some amazing art and sculptures.
