Delicious!~

Tis the ONLY market we have ever been to that has multiple wine and champagne booths. Enjoyed great pizza and falafal there. Lots to choose from, great tasting food. Clean and lively. Surprisingly small crowds for it being the What Watchers Festival w/end.

Thank you for your lovely review! Much appreciated. The Whale Festival is often our poorest day as our local customer base tend to flee!

One of the the reasons we frequent Hermanus is to enjoy this market. There is such a relaxing vibe in such stunning surroundings. The food and stalls always provide you with either an early breakfast or brunch. We seldom miss this one!

An easy morning out
Aug 2018 • Family
A space where you satisfy your New Age tastebuds or quench the Millenial thirst for homemade brews. The kiddies have a jungle gym to spend their energy on or let them take a train ride while their sibling has their face painted. If you can’t find space on any of the benches available there is plenty space on the nearby cricket field. Food galore and plenty interesting stall omers to chat up. Go on, it’s worht a visit!

Regular visitors

We visit the market about twice a month and have never been disappointed. It gets very busy at times but the organisers keep looking at ways to accommodate all visitors. Everybody is friendly and seem to want to enjoy themselves.
We love a coffee and something to eat. Child and dog friendly. A must visit.

Colourful local handicrafts
Mar 2019 • Couples
We visited the Saturday market on our brief visit to Hermanus at the end of our holiday before heading for the airport and home. There was a large busy car park with attendants to pay nearby. We could not find the market at first as we had not walked far enough from the car park. When we asked a local we were directed to the open stall/shops opposite the shopping centre which are obviously permanent. The actual open market is a little tucked away further along behind some bars.

Most of the stalls are colourful hand-made local arts and crafts, jewellery and souvenirs. I was looking at some hand-made necklaces but was a little put off by the almost begging stall holder who gave me a sob story about supporting her family back home.

Great handcrafts and atmosphere
Mar 2019 • Friends
Super atmosphere and plenty to eat and drink at the market. Activities for children and beautiful local handcrafts for sale from very talented crafters. Live music.Especially enjoyed the friendliness of the talented couple - Dr Rob's pens and his wife who does some lovely hand knitting. The cotton baby cot covers are are a must especially for a first grandchild!

Can really recommend a visit to this market. Really relaxed.

On the outskirts of Hermanus this great craft and food market is well worth a visit.

Local foods for lunch and wines and beers and gins. Open til 13:00 so get there early.
Live music to listen to and a play area for kids.
