Awesome way to view the Hermanus whales

Herman and Bjorn were amazing. Easy to contact and very helpful. Bjorn was a great guide full of interesting facts regarding the surrounding marine life. Two whales came very close to our kayak. A trip to remember and worth every penny!

Whales, penguins, exercise and fun in Hermanus

I cannot recommend this fantastic experience enough ! Spotting whales, penguins and seals on a kayak beats a boat experience any day. You can smell, hear and feel the sea. Bjorn and Herman welcomed me warmly and I quickly made friends. As a solo guest, it was great to share this adventure with others. We were very lucky to have a whale come right up to our kayak. Wowzers !! Once in a lifetime... And I got some exercise which made the beer at Gecko even more delicious after !! Don't worry about whether you can row or not. Bjorn guides you and each kayak has 2 people. By far, I am convinced that this is the best activity in Hermanus and surrounds. Step out of your comfort zone and grab a paddle, get out on the ocean, make friends and have a story to tell. My husband goes kayaking with these guys regularly and he loves it so much. You won't be sorry.

Enjoyed the sea kayaking tour with Bjorn who had great knowledge of the sea and Walker Bay. Booking experience & extra support from Herman was also excellent. Highly recommend tour company

Wonderful Customer Service

I haven’t used Walker Bay Adventures yet but I do want to highlight their wonderful customer service, especially Herman. Originally I was thinking of going on a whale watching tour but I am extremely sensitive to motion sickness. I communicated with Herman and he was honest and helpful in explaining to me that those water based activities that I was interested in would activate my motion sickness and advised me on other alternative activities which was kind of him.

Fabulous sea Kayaking trip

Sea kayaking. Did it as a family of six. Well organised. Herman is a great guy and has fabulous people with him. A beautiful morning. Strongly recommend

Beautiful kayak trip

We had a great time and it was easy to book at a fairly late notice. Bjorn gave out a ton of information and pointed out where seals playing. Morgan, who was helping, was also fun and was fun to chat with. Highly recommend spending a couple of hours with these guys. We didn’t see too much wildlife but it was nice to be out in the water.

Beautiful sea kayaking experience

Great session of sea kayaking with Bjorn, we were able to see whales from up close and a seal also came playing around our kayaks. Access is really easy and staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Our guide Bjorn also gave many interesting facts about marine life and the landscape of Hermanus.

Excellent trip out in a sea kayak, well looked after by our hosts, with lots of whale sightings.

Fabulous sea kayaking trip. We were well looked after by Herman and Bjorn. Saw lots of whales, with Bjorn out on the water with us and Herman calling in sightings from the shore.

Would highly recommend Walker Bay Adventures.

A fun and worthwhile excursion to see whales in Hermanus

Fantastic experience. The team were very friendly and professional. Booking was easy and the actual outing was fantastic. Led by a knowledgeable and friendly guide who made the experience fun. Great whale sighting and good exercise. Fully recommend.
