Just up the road from Camps Bay (you could walk it) is Maidens Cove, a lovely little cove with great views back over the bay. There is a car park so you can pull up to take photographs. Good in the early evening.

There are a few vendors selling pictures etc but they were friendly and not pushy or intimidating.

We were in Cape Town and while going around spent some time at this lovely location. A good beach with beautiful view. Nothing very spectacular but like anywhere else a good beach to spend some time.

Went to visit Maidens' Cove on 25th June 2019 evening. The experience was awesome and the sunset viewed was one of the best and memorable one.

Took a large number of photographs and only a few are attached here,

Recommend everyone coming to Cape Town to come here in the evening hours and enjoy the Sunset

One of the most beautiful beaches in the Cape area. A great area for taking photos & selfies during the day of at sunset. Fun to to watch surfers, too. At sunset, great picture taking.

BOTTOM LINE: I have been here mid-morning and at dusk and both are amazing to see. Great spot to stretch you legs when traveling down to the Cape of Good Hope. The perfect backdrop area for bridals and modeling photography. Romantic sunset viewing! MY RATING: 10/10.

Camps bay is on any day a view no one should miss. The Maidens cove area give a wonderfull view over the bay. A nice picnic is also a great way to enjoy the time for little longer. From the Maidenscove area you have a stunning view over the Twelve Appostles at the back of Table Mountain. Another bonus is that the ablusion facilities are clean and well kept and for a public space a great discovery.

Here, while driving the peninsula, we had time to stretch our legs a bit and just walked, looking for interesting rocks and listened to the waves which were pretty strong that day. Another beautiful part of the natural beauty of the Cape Town area.

This is behind Table Mountain and it's so pretty! A good amount of parking and I believe bathrooms. There is a sandy beach area for toe dipping! A grassy green area too. Brought here by our private tour guide for one fantastic view!

This is a beautiful spot with amazing views between Camps bay and Clifton beaches. We jumped off the sightseeing bus in Camps Bay and walked all the way to Clifton and then to the next sightseeing bus stop at President hotel. It's quite a walk (~2 kilometers), but on your way you discover beautiful spots which you miss going by bus. Highly recommended!

Dec 28 late morning: There are multiple beaches in CPT - we went here cos one of the songs in a Bollywood film was shot here. This one is a quiet beach where one can braai and there is a tidal pool. The water here was also quite cold but we braved it to go to the other end of the pool to click photos - worth it as there is a mountain backdrop. Not a very big beach but beautiful views and not that crowded.
