We really didn't fancy doing a bus based township tour- apart from anything it seemed offensive to the residents! So I found 'the township sisters' and we're so glad we did! Parking isn't a problem- leave your own car at the entrance to Masi and...More

Mandy led us through the township, including her own home. We were shown how much the community pull together and try to give and much meeded support. The beautiful children are so lovely, with their beaming smiles and friendliness. A tour well worth doing.

The walking tour with Mandi around the township where she lives and is an official guide was a highlight of our trip to the Cape. For me, no trip to South Africa would be complete or rounded without such an experience. It was an eye-opening...More

Museums and docents help you understand the history of South Africa, but my Township Sisters tour gave me an insider's look at what's happening NOW in this amazing country, and it was fascinating, eye-opening and inspiring! Yes, the lions on safari are exciting, and the...More

Mandi and Florian took us on a fantastic tour of Masi. We visited Mandi's home, the library, a lovely sewing shop, the creche, and then we had a bite to eat (chicken and pap!) at Mandi's friend's house. The tour felt safe and professional, but...More
