Amazing place to view the sunset and view of cape town! Carry some snacks if you are sitting down as there is a place available. Toilets are also available

Signal Hill is one of the spectacular places of Cape Town. You can go there by car, but it is not that easy to find the way up. On the top of Signal Hill there are two very old canons, and one of them will be fired every day at 12 sharp. The bang can be heard over most of... More

The road up is almost as special for the views it offers as the ones you will enjoy from on top of Signal Hill itself. The vantage point you have at the summit is well worth the trip. I imagine it is a perfect spot for sundowners but our early morning trip was still worthwhile and memorable

Like Table Mountain this is full of photographic opportunities. It really seems like the end of the world because you see so far.

As you do not have to hike to reach the top, just drive up and enjoy a beautiful sunset over cape town!

Watch the sunset over the sea, from this vantage point. Walk or drive you won't be disappointed. Take a rug, a picnic and a torch. Walk the trails or just sit, either way make it an evening to remember.

Great spot to go and get "another" perspective on to cape town. CityBowl and Table mountain on one side and camps bay on the other side. Interesting: See the paragliders start! Tip: stop on the way up/or down to get some extra nice views :)

One might think that table mountain would provide all the views one wanted of Cape Town, but Signal Hill is lower, closer and a different angle from the mountain and almost as appealing. You can also stand in a metal 'photo frame' labelled Table Mountain and have your picture taken by partner or friend with the mountain gloriously behind you!

This is a great spot to watch the sunset. There is a large tarpaulin set up to accommodate the dozens of people who want to sit and watch the last rays of the sun disappear beneath the ocean and enjoy a drink or a picnic. Bring your own folding chair if you require a bit more comfort. Getting there: There... More

The views over Cape Town are excellent and of Table Mountain but with Signal Hill you can drive to the top. They also take off with paragliders from here which is also worth watching. Overall an Excellent no cost attraction.
