Don't panic if you're standing by the window as the car revolves so everyone gets a chance to get some great pictures. Bring snack as you could be in the queue for ages or just buy online is quicker.

This is excellent. Make sure you do this as soon as you can after you arrive in Cape Town as it can close due to sudden weather changes, (wind and cloud). Can be a queue so try to arrive early and pre purchase tickets.

There's no doubt that clear weather makes this trip so much better and we were in luck. There was a temperature inversion so we had clear views from the summit even though it was slightly hazy download in Cape Town. The walk around various paths...More

We had bought tickets online in advance and that was a saving grace! The line to buy tickets at the Cableway was long. We passed right by the line and straight into the elevator and into the cable car. Try and stand as close to...More

Good idea to go with your tickets booked. But a must do trip when the weather is clear. You should do the short free guided walking tour at the top.
