Beware of the wind, though. NEVER go up the Mountain when it is windy. Try to spend as much time as possible on top of the Mountain. Walk around and take a look at the different views from different locations. Look out to the north, south east and west. Especially the west at sunset - you will hardly see something... More

Table Mountain truly deserves its status as one of the new wonders of the world and its place in the hearts of residents of the Mother City and visitors. We went up (and down) by cable car and the views from the top are magnificent. Bargain on spending half a day on your visit to allow you to walk along... More

When the weather is clear and fine, a trip up Table Mountain is the best way to spend a day or a few hours! The view of the whole Cape Peninsula is spectacular, as well as the walks on the mountain top. It is always an exhilarating and memorable excursion for our family.

Long queues for both the tickets and the Cable Car can be frustrating , but its definitely worth it. Nice facilities on the top and an extraordinary vista. If you buy your tickets off the mountain, you reduce the wait. high winds can cause cancellations , so check before heading to the boarding point.

The brilliant "new cable car" is a far cry from the old creaky "bus shelter" cars of old, very comfortable and relatively fast

We went up Table Mountain via the aerial cableway. we were fortunate to have had great weather, and the queues were not too lone. we even managed to get a parking close to the bottom station.

It was my first time up to table mountain. What an experience. Enjoyed it very much. we had a beautiful day and a clear view when we where up there. Although the curio shop and restaurant a bit pricy, nothing prevents you from taking your own refreshments. Please note - take something warm to wear, as when you get up... More

the experience was not pleasant in a way that the queue was about an hour and it was a hot day..the food at the restaurant was not good,.,.,maybe you can dish up that cold unappetising salads to tourists but as a Cape townian I am sure you can do much better in the cuisine department,,,like some curries and rooties and...
