A great way to see Table Bay and beyond - we booked ahead online to avoid queues but at 9am in mid-June we needn't have worried. Parking is basically anywhere you can safely leave your car on the approach road though there is a car-minder...More

Amazing views of the city and the cable car is well worth it. Definitely need to choose a clear day otherwise you will see next to nothing.

Unless you go out of season you will wait in line for the next cablecar for some time, so make sure you buy a ticket beforehand. Excellent ride to the top, with great views and a decent cafe and shop.

Hi. The only other way up is by hiking one of the three trails up the mountain, with an experienced guide. The Cableway is the only form of motorised transport up. Thanks
