Great outing for tourists and locals alike - especially with the local sunset special after 6pm at certain times. Excellent restaurant offering. Just make sure to get there early as parking fills up fast and take plenty of warm clothing. Also it is weather permitting...More

This something we would have missed had we not been on a tour and were so glad to have experienced the incredible views of Cape Town. Be sure to go early so you don’t miss the stunning colors of the sunrise.

This is a must do experience for all travellers to Cape Town. The views are spectacular and the mountain cableway is a great way to see the entire area as it turns through 360 degrees on the way up and the way down.

The Aerial Tram is how one gets up and down from the top of Table Mountain. While offering the expected views, the ride is relatively short transportation and the views are typical and less than that obtained at the top of the mountain.

Yes you can pre-book trips on the cable cars online, but again that will not help if the weather closes the cars. High winds are unpredictable and delayed our trip up the mountain by 3 days. There is a very nice restaurant... More

When you get to the top, there is a machine in the cable car house where you can buy a one-way ticket down. The hike up takes about 2 hrs, so take plenty of water.
