beautiful ride up and down, great time walking around with an amazing view. could spend many hours up there. great view of the city. perhaps after you could do some wine tasting if you are using the hop on hop off bus.

First visit to Cape Town and first visit to Table Mountain! The arial cableway offers a 360 view of the city, The open windows and rotating floor give a chance to everybody to enjoy the perfect view and perfect pictures!

We visited Table Mountain on a beautiful day so we had great views on all sides. Nature on the top is great with various animals and flowers. A must when you are in Cape Town if it is not cloudy.

Booking your tickets online before you get there is a good idea, as you avoid any queues. We went up at around 15.00. The floor of the cable car rotates so you get a view point of both the vista below and the mountain side....More

If you visit cape town you must go up table top mountain We went later in the day and didn't have to wait long to get to the top Staff are very helpful and friendly

Hi, there is a fair amount of parking, depending on when you are travelling - gets very busy over Dec / Jan and again Easter holidays. I have not used the pre purchase link, but have heard it does help reduce waiting time... More

Yes you can pre-book trips on the cable cars online, but again that will not help if the weather closes the cars. High winds are unpredictable and delayed our trip up the mountain by 3 days. There is a very nice restaurant... More

When you get to the top, there is a machine in the cable car house where you can buy a one-way ticket down. The hike up takes about 2 hrs, so take plenty of water.
