Fabulous African collectibles for purchase. As you move up floors the collectible get more refined. Have now been here a great number of times over more than five trips to South Africa. Trust these people to ship and give you great advise!

I visited this shop during my Cape Town tour. Actually it was a open museum of African culture and arts. Their collections was really unbelievable. They have also some animal skins including zebra, giraffe, lion, and deer....But as a animal lover I can't appreciate this!!! A lots of nice souvenir is available there. At least full 1 and half hour is needed to explore this shop. At ground floor you will get all gems and handicraft items. At 1st floor and the wall beside the staircase you will find all special items...

This place is just great! Everything from inexpensive souvenirs to really fantastic collectible vintage tribal works of art. The upstairs house the more expensive pieces. I've been here a half dozen times on four trips to Africa and always seem to find something great! Unlike Tribal Trends (also in Cape Town) these people can be completely trusted to ship and were very helpful finding things within the store. I absolutely LOVE this place. Stuff from all over Africa!

Visited on 2 or 3 occasions during our stay in Cape Town and each time it felt like the first there's that much to see.
All sorts of souvenirs to suit all budgets.

This was originally the Port Captain’s Building, but it’s now a huge tourist souvenir shop, full of African themed gifts. Prices are cheap despite it being a prime tourist location and staff are helpful.

A wide selection of handcrafted South African goods. This place is perfect for picking up a souvenir. The artwork outside the building is fantastic! On the second and third floors it is very musuem like, and you must make the effort to go up. You won't be disappointed.
The soapstone carved animals became an addiction to my wife. They are inexpensive and cute. A bad combination. But, the beer garden is nearby!

This shop is more like a curio museum than a souvenir shop! It is a combination of all the little curio shops in the Waterfront area over 3 floors! They have it all everything from metal animal sculptures and zebra hides to tea towels, decorative art and postcards. If you can’t find what you are looking for in this shop- you may be out of luck! The prices are comparable to the other shops around and the quality seemed of a good standard. If you have a bit of extra time be sure to check out the private gallery at the top of the shop- it is very cool.

This is an interesting and amazing place to shop. There are several floors; upper floors housing a museum- like retail shop with authentic drums, spears, masks and such with the lower floor housing t-shirts, beads and the like. People working here we’re lovely and always willing to help and share information about both their country and the products they sell. This helpful service continued even when helping to ship larger items home. Definitely would suggest stopping to visit!

We had the day exploring V&A Waterfront and wanted to get some presents to take back home. This shop is delightful. Lots to look at and lots of gorgeous clothing. We bought some lovely presents and all at a reasonable price.
Will definitely come back here if we ever visit Cape Town again.
