The best experience, an absolute must if you’re travelling to Cape Town. Such a great way to see amazing views. Felt completely comfortable and safe with very friendly instructors. Don’t hesitate….book it!

After six tries at another company and some bad experiences, I choose this company to do the paragliding flight. I booked via telephone super spontanous and I got a spot at the next early morning.
The Staff is super friendly and nice, you are definetly feeling safe with them. The Flight was quite short, because of the thermic in the morning, but it is definetly worth it.
You can easily get nice pictures and videos with an SD Card.
I can highly recommend this company !

We were supposed to meet at 5h30 (Signal Hill). We arrived there with my friend at 4h30. We waited up to 6h30. Nobody never came. No email, no call.
Note that I double checked the day before to make sure the booking was done correctly for that time.
So disappointed.

Our group of 5 including my 12 year old niece booked this trip while in Cape Town. Once you arrive on Signal Hill they suit you up pretty quickly with a harness and helmet and off you go! It all happens pretty fast and before you know it, you are running off the hill! Each of our flights lasted about 15 minutes all of which is captured by a go pro you are holding which is set up to take a video along with pictures on a timer. Flying tandem with a professional really put our minds at ease as it was clear they knew what they were doing and safety was a priority! Starting out flying over the mountains, city then ocean before landing there is nowhere better in the world to paraglide. This is a must do in Cape Town!

Had an incredible time paragliding with Jacques and everyone at Icarus Paragliding! Felt completely safe the entire time and loved every second of the whole experience!
I'll recommend Icarus to anyone interested in seeing beautiful Cape Town from an amazing new perspective! If you're reading this review because you're on the fence (like I was!) DO IT! You won't regret it!

I loved the experience of paragliding from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was fun and informative. I knew exactly what was going to happen, when it was going to happen, and what my part was in the process. It was an absolutely beautiful way to see Cape Town.
A word of warning: if you’re prone to motion sickness, take an extra Dramamine. The one I took the morning of paragliding wasn’t quite enough. A couple of the turns made me a little queasy, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying myself.

100% the best thing we did in Cape Town, and if it wasnt for the fact we were leaving the day after our flight i think we'd have done it again! Jacques and John were so friendly and professional, kept us updated with the weather and spent time reassuring me (i'm completely scared of heights).
I flew with Jacques and he pointed out things of interest and kept talking to me about what we were doing. The most incredible experience, would recommend to anyone!

The flight itself was wonderful, but the owner of this company was very rude. He was disrespectful towards his employees and openly rude to them in front of all of us. I was selected to fly with him and felt uncomfortable from the beginning. While we were flying he was yelling at other pilots making the experience even less enjoyable. The other pilots were very kind and my friends had great experiences. The owner wasn't in tune with our inquiries and was rude to my friend who was asking questions.

I'm sorry for such an experience. No excuse can justify what I did. I apologize for such uncalled for behavior and trust me this is now a thing of the past. Next time you come to Cape Town please come again for a free flight. Thank you!

The coordinator at Icarus was very efficient and flexible around our booking arrangements and communication was excellent.
Our booked day was not going to be available due to bad weather conditions, so Lené managed to book us in, spontaneously, with another experienced team. It was an awesome experience with highly capable and reassuring pilots. Stunning views and really just a lift into the air upon take-off. Landing was so easy, as well. The rest you won’t ever forget!! Next time I’ll be more relaxed for sure!

We are flying with wind and weather so it is very difficult to promise a half-hour trip. We do go out to fly different sites to try and improve the flying time like for instance ee will go to Hermanus when the winds are better there and there we can almost guarantee that
