Can’t recommend Barry enough, decided to go for a sunrise tour with friends and Barry went above and beyond for us.
Clearly knows what he is talking about and can definitely see how experienced he is.
There is no doubt we would go with Barry again.

The hike up with Barry was incredible. He was a great reassuring guide very professional who paced the walking well and knew when to take breaks for us. He also shared interesting information about what we were seeing. The hike itself is very doable and while a little difficult if youre not used to doing much hiking the view on top was amazing. We made it on top in time for sunrise and when it arrived it was beautiful. Special thanks to Barry and to the lovely Swiss family who joined us for the excellent company! Would highly recommend doing this hike with Barry you wont regret it!

Had a long day of travelling and vexing cooped up in an airplane the previous day so I decided to book a sunrise hike up Lions Head to stretch the legs out. Not really one for early morning or alarms but I’d do it all over again to experience the stunning views over Cape Town. Barry is a great guide, who’s easy to get along with and full of knowledge of the mountains and local area. When I come back to Cape Town (which I will) then I’ll definitely be booking Barry again. 5*

Barry was a solid and supportive guide which I found particularly reassuring. I am an unfit 50 + and his guidance when choosing a suitable route; which was exciting enough for the rest of our family group was invaluable. Our group ranged from 16 years old, a few in their 20's and two of us in our 50's. The mountain and views were spectacular.

Barry was an incredible and friendly guide. Over the past few months, I have done various hikes with him on Table Mountain which have been on more lesser-known trails with more scrambling elements. We have done trails like Woody Buttress, Ledges and Blind Gully which were all really enjoyable. Barry provides a great experience on the mountain and has many interesting facts and stories about the mountain. He also provided lifts many times. I would highly recommend him.

Barry was the perfect guide to hike Table Mountain! He lead a good pace for all of us, shared helpful information along the way, and could always sense when we needed a rest at the perfect lookout spot. Thank you for making my trip complete, Barry!

Our guide was so wonderful. He made his schedule available to accommodate us on an afternoon hike. He was informative & friendly and had our safety in mind. I highly recommend!!

The experience with Barry was great, he was on time, companionable throughout the experience, telling us the story of every spot we encountered on the route.
Also after reaching the top of Lion's Head via a very easy hike route, he also gave us the best sunset of our stay by taking us to a spot we had never seen before.
Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys adventures and good company.

What an experience! I almost left Cape Town without doing this and boy would I have regretted it. First off let me say Barry was great! I was on the verge of going alone, but thank God I didn’t because on the way up several people who were alone or with a friend were lost and almost made the mistake of going the wrong way until Barry so nicely guided them to the right direction. He was more than willing to take photos/videos of me during the hike. He also gave some really good info about the vegetation, birds and many other facts that I would not have got without a guide. Thanks so much!
