Clifton is very popular with the younger set in summer. A lovely clean beach with swimming. Summer concerts also attract people. Lovely to watch the sun set in summer.

we took a CapeTown trike ride through here as well as the Hop on Hop off bus. Really enjoyed this lovely area full of shops and restaurants all along the beach.

i wish to own or sleep in one of the amazing beach houses here. i didnt know people are this wealthy till i saw the amazing real estate of clifton. its a rich persons area so expect the beach to be amazing too

The beaches really are nice. A few rocks in the water as well as a couple algaes but nothing too bad. Recommendable

There are shuttles available to a from the airport if you book with a hotel which is included in your fee as well as taxis but tit is easier to rent a car for a few days as there are so many places to explore which is easier... More

We had a car, but you can also use Uber--there are cabs everywhere to take you where you want to go near the Central Cape.
