Plenty of parking. As always wonderful views. Never tire of visiting this magnificent structure. The grounds and monument were free from litter and it has been kept in a good state. The lions are so shiny now, from children and adults being photographed on them.

This is such a nice place to bring overseas guests. On a good day the views over the peninsula are stunning, and then follow it up with some delicious scones and tea at the restaurant behind the memorial.

Well worth a visit if only for the views over the city. And of course there is the historical aspect to it all.

Great viewpoint. Awesome photo opportunity. Good to see it closeup as it is very different from the road below

I like parking at the bottom or the entrance to Rhodes just off the M3, then walk up to Rhodes memorial, its a nice walk up to the Memorial. Once there quench your thirst at the restuarant or take some sandwiches with for a nice picnic. Behind the resturant there is a hiking trail, hike in pairs or groups but its pretty safe this time of the year with many tourists and locals on holiday

If you just visit for the view or you are a history buff, this place definitely does not let you down! The view from here is super and the little restaurant in the back is amazing!

It has a great view looking down from the slopes of Table Mountain. Good place for a picnic on the steps, especially for sundowners. Excellent for families - kids can play.

Lots of history if you're with a guide, the view from the memorial is fantastic and having a restaurant is the best, great food to be ordered.

This is a memorial to Rhodes which today as a lot of part of history of Z.A is subject to dilema. The views of the cape flats and the mountains are fantastic. Behind the monuments, there is a coffeeshop/restaurant which serves good quality food. It's not one of the touristic main attraction so don't expect to stay there for long or have any explanations done in a center. There is a hike at the far back but unfortunately, rather go as a group as there are often burglaries happening on the walk on this mountain.
