We had the most incredible experience quad biking at Atlantis Dunes! From start to finish, everything was seamless and exhilarating. Our guide, Giverson, made the adventure even more special. He was not only knowledgeable and professional but also made sure we were safe and comfortable the entire time, allowing us to fully enjoy the thrill of riding across the stunning dunes.
The scenery was breathtaking, and Giverson's guidance ensured we got the best out of the entire experience. This is an absolute must-do for anyone looking for an adventurous day out. We can't recommend it highly enough – amazing from beginning to end!

Would 100% recommend the 11 day garden route/kruger tour. Saw so many beautiful places and met incredible people. The trip was so well organised and communication with Eunice was so easy. Our guide Taariq was the funniest person ever!! But also super helpful and went out of his way to take us where we needed to go. He is truly great at his job and a decent human being.

This was a great trip. I couldn't of asked for a better guide (Taariq). He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip great. It was my first solo travel and I felt very safe and well cared for by Taariq. I would also like to mention Lisan, who took care of us at the guest house. Another lovely person who helped make the trip wonderful. The adventures and experiences were great, but I don't think they would have been so without the great staff at Cape Extreme, attention to my needs. Sorry for the late review. Thank you for a great experience.

We booked on Friday evening for a group of 6 to do the quad biking in Atlantis on Saturday morning. The one person could not make it and I informed them early on Saturday morning. Due to their terms and conditions, they insisted that they will retain the money for the 6th person even though she could not make it. The customer experience in this regard was handled very unprofessionally and despite many attempts to reason with them, they were adamant to the point of rudeness that they are within their rights to retain the money I paid which there was no service or benefit for. The one person even put the phone down while I was speaking. On the day, the biking itself was enjoyable but very controlled to the extent that the experience itself turned out to be a bit boring. The guide did not allow us to ride anywhere except in a straight line behind him. For the price, a little more freedom to experience the dunes would have been preferred.

Quad biking Melkbos Cape Town. We paid a premium for a private trip. The site was busy and felt disorganised there were not enough quad bikes for the group in front of us. We were not given any information or updated on the delay. The helmets were old one did not fasten properly. There was no safely briefing and only a very few words on how the bike worked. The guide did not introduce themselves. We left 30 mins late. The first 10+ minutes we followed the large group in front stopping frequently. Another guide then took us but without introducing themselves. One bike got stuck in the water and took along time to get out. We bumped into the other group again coming the opposite way down a narrow track which delayed us further. The same bike ran out of fuel 10 mins before the end (again stopping for sometime to try and sort it out) with one of us having to ride on the back of another’s bike for the rest of the time. We did not enjoy the experience and did not feel safe most of the time due to the strong smell of petrol.

I would recommend the 4 Day Cape to Addo Safari Tour unreservedly. The scenery was spectacular and the itinerary varied and interesting with something for everyone including options for the more adventurous. A warm welcome awaits at the accommodation en route along with excellent freshly made, traditional food. Laurens, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable and fostered an inclusive atmosphere which brought us together as a group. I made new friends and have some wonderful memories to look back on.

EXCELLENT half day adventure hiking up Table Mountain with Dylan. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Cape Town and outdoor activities in the area. And on the ride to and from the mountain, he showed us some amazing views and city landmaks around Cape Town. HIGHLY recommend Dylan and CapeXtreme

We went on the ten day tour in august, our guide was Lourens.
We did a lot of things, so pardon me if I don’t mention them all.
The first day we went to Hermanus to spot some whales, unfortunately, we didn’t see any that day. Each day of the trip we looked outside the car windows trying to spot some of these extraordinary creatures. We almost gave up hope, but suddenly Lourens spotted some people with binoculars. He stopped the car (safefully) and turned around. Thanks to him we did not only see one whale, but two (a mommy and her baby), it made our whole trip even more unforgettable. You could tell Lourens loves animals very much (he even stopped the car once to save a little tortoise) and got excited each time when we spotted an animal (I think giraffes are his favourites). We also took the safari tour (Addo National Park) with a park guide and then again with Lourens. A good decision, because he is very well informed.
We were very well taking care of, my friend and I are both vegetarians and this was never a problem. More so, we enjoyed some very good home cooked meals at our homestay at Sedgefield. I was three months pregnant during the trip (with twins!), so I could not participate all activities. There were some great alternatives though; whilst my friends went zip lining, I took an amazing walk through the zip ling parcours (and I could watch my friends screaming and sliding down.) Obviously I could not do the bungee jump, but I went on the bridge as a cheerleader to encourage my friends. That made me feel part of the group (and I will never forget their scared faces).
Although we did a lot of activities including canoeing and a breath taking hike in Tsitsikamma Park, we also spend a lot of time in the car (it was a ten day trip in a large aria after all). Luckily this was never an issue because Lourens kept entertaining us during the car rides. He even made a playlist of our favourite songs and the songs of other travellers, nice of him to show interest in other people’s music taste (although he had an interesting taste of his own).
We felt safe and entertained during the whole trip. Heads up for Lourens and his team!

My daughter visited Cape Town from the USA with 4 friends, they are 21 years old. They used Cape Xtreme Adventure Tours to do the Table Mountain Skeleton Gorge Hike. They were picked up by their Hiking guide Garreth. They thought he was the drive,r as he did not say a word to them, when finally one of the girls asked him if he was Garreth. He did not ask them their names, nor did he converse with them at all!!!! This hike is long and he made it no fun at all, He went ahead on the hike, he did not care at what pace they wanted or needed to go. He gave them no details about the flora or fauna or scenery, They were together for many hours and he made this long hike extremely unpleasant!!!! He was so rude. I contacted Cape Extreme Adventures and was messaging with Barry O' Donoaghue the Managing Director. I explained the situation to him, and he said he would come back to me. I had to chase up on this matter as he did to come back to me. When I Messaged him again, he said that each girls should have contacted him (they are at college so took it upon myself to complain), he did not follow up with me, can you imagine him getting back to 5 other complaints?He did not ever say he spoke wit Garreth and said that my girls gave Garreth a tip, which means they must have been happy, Well they did tip Garreth, a small one, which they should never have done, but they are American and we tip everyone. They have now learnt their lesson. I requested a 50% refund, which he would not agree to and blamed it on that each girl did not contact him, and that they gave a small tip and then on the Carona Virus ,as he was losing business.

We have just had an excellent one-way 5 day trip from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth with Capextreme. Our guide Lourens was friendly and knowledgeable and looked after us well. He adapted the itinerary so that everyone got the most out of the trip. The highlights for us were Hermanus, Cape Agulhas, Sedgefield, Cango Caves, a surprise visit that I won’t detail, the walk to the Storms River, and Addo NP.
I would recommend this trip to travelers of any age.

I have sent an email over a week ago but have gotten no response. We are looking to come to CPT between Dec 23-30th 2017 and want to know if you have any availability on the 4 day Cape to Addo tour. If so, what departure days do you have available and what is the cost for 2 people? Do you have a direct email I can use to contact you as I used the enquiry form on your website and have not had a response a. Or do you have a whatsapp number I can contact you on?
