Avo Orange has operated our private Namibia overland tour.
- Very good guide : clear in communication, proactive in managing situations, always available to support us and with a good knowledge of the places visited,
- Very good cooking
- Good overland truck
- Great program
- Adequate accommodations
- Camping places and materials good

I used Avo Orange to research various holidays and ultimately booked a trip to Mozambique with them in April. Erica Liebenberg was extremely helpful, very responsive to my many inquiries and helped me to find the best tour for my needs. As I was very busy, it helped a lot being able to book a trip with them, without the hassle of having to do it all myself. Erica also provided additional tips ahead of my trip about restaurants and things to do which was very helpful. I would definitely use Avo Orange again.

We did a tour starting from Johannesburg, Kruger, Swaziland, Mozambique and back in 5 friends with a car with Berry and Mariette (guide / driver and cook) and we had a wonderful time. We visited fantastic places, eaten with barbecue every evening, prepare yourself from Berry, enjoying the typical South African cuisine. The trip was prepared scrupulously and apart from a small problem, resolved with timeliness and professionalism from Erica we found ourselves very well. I recommend it to anyone who wants to discover these wonderful places guided by expert people who know the places and traditions of the place.

I wanted to take my 11 year old son on a overland camping trip. Erica from AVO Orange did quite a bit of research for me,first to find a tour company that would allow a 11 year old and second that would cover all the highlights I wanted to coverage. After some time she was able to come up
With a perfect company (Wild dog safari) we picked the 15 day Delta & Dunes Safari. We couldn't have asked for a better trip. Erica was great she went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of from start to finish. I would highly recommend Avo orange for you travel need...

We chartered a truck from Avo Orange for a family tour/ holiday through the Northern Cape. The truck was comfortable the guides and the food brilliant, and Erica and Ted were amazing. This is the perfect holiday for families and friends that want to make the travelling part of the adventure. No stress about the driving , the children have enough space to move around, and no worrying about organizing equipment for the non campers.

I went togehter with two friends on the wild west coast tour. It was the first time that Avo Orange did this tour, but it was great! Our guides: Erica and Ted were so friendly and really wanted to show us everything. The places that we visited were amazing. The thing I really liked about this tour is that the west coast tour is not a touristic tour, like the garden route. You will see the locals, cute places in the middle of the dessert and I really enjoyed these places, because it feels so far from the real life. There are also a lot of adventure thing to do, like the zipline tour, cycling, horseriding and sleeping in the dessert. And the tour ends at the beatiful coast-line.
Like I said, the tour is very well organised. The accommondation and the food is really good and we visited wonderfull places. I would love to do it again and I would recommend this tour to everyone!

I went on a customised Family and Friends overland trip through South Africa, Namibia, Bostwana, Zambia and Zimbabwe with Avo Orange using a privately chartered vehicle.
I was thoroughly impressed with the extremely professional, efficient and friendly approach of Erica at Avo Orange.
No request was too ambitious or wayward, and she did everything in her power to ensure we got to have an amazing holiday.
She made sure dietary preferences were accommodated throughout the trip.
There's only so much you can plan and learn from a guidebook and the internet, and her expertise and experience in the Southern Africa overland circuit proved invaluable. As a result, we have some incredible, unique experiences e.g walking to Dead Vlei over the dunes in the afternoon with no-one else around, and staying till sunset!
I would definitely recommend Avo Orange to anyone looking to have a customised Southern African itinerary / Private Charters. Unfortunately, we did not plan any dives using Avo Orange, but they also come highly recommended for Dive Charters.
Finally, a big 'Asante Sana' to our driver, Farai Chivende from Africa Travel Co - incredibly humble, professional and friendly - with a wicked sense of humour!

amazing is an understatement!!
from the time we left, it was impecable organisation by erica and our driver farahi!!
they went out of their way to accomodate for everything we wished to visit with a few pleasant surprises along the way!
i loved waking up to the cold beautiful sunrises. visited camps bay, fish river canyon, swakopmund, kalahari,skydived, buggying in the dunes, camping under the stars (never seen so many shooting stars!!)
loved it.. would do it all again in a heart beat.. thanks so much.

In March 2015 we embarked of an EPIC 16 day Namibian adventure with truck load of like minded adventure seekers. From start to finish the trip ran with out a glitch. From rafting on the Orange River, sunset safari drives, local cuisines and endless good times all our expectations of our African adventure where met. This is one trip I will never forget.

I would recommend my Orange river Trip to anyone, it was amazing! You experience the beautiful landscape and a total nature feeling by sleeping under the stars on the river. The food our good guides prepared for us was more than enough and very delicious! Avo Orange organised this tour very well and you always have someone to contact in case something goes wrong! So thank you again for this Trip, I took so many photos and I hope I won't forget.
