This tour was fantastic and Wayne was so informative and interesting. We were a group of 3 including my 88 year old dad. Wayne made sure he was taken care of by chatting and having coffee to allow us to hike and explore. He went above and beyond to make our time in Cape Town extra special. I highly recommend this tour guide.

We arrived in Cape town on a fami!y holiday and was greated by Terry from take 2 tours, this was the first time that we have hired a personal driver and without a doubt undoubtedly the best decision we made in the planning of our holiday.
I was recommended Take 2 Tours by a friend that had used and recommended to others several times before.
Initial contact was via email with Wayne (the company owner)
Wayne suggested an itinerary which was comprehensive and would ensure that we would get a real 'flavour, of cape town.
Each day was filled with fun, laughter, local knowledge and somehow we always were given the best spots in every restaurant that we visited. Take 2 Tours took care of everything, booking trips, restaurants and airport transfers.
Our personal guide Terry provided a 5* Professiona and personable service consistently every day. He loves his job and we genuinely all fell in love with his charismatic personality, kindness and humour. We all learnt so much from Terry, his knowledge of South Africa, places, people and wildlife is only to be admired! Terry ensured that we got the most out of each day , if we were a little ahead of schedule, he would say ',how about I show you something else'. Of course we'd say yes. Each day we would be more excited to spend the day with Terry and we shared many a laugh, during our time together.
Terry,s driving was supersafe and we were very relaxed and comfortable the whole trip.
There is nothing I would change about our trip other than the length of stay, it's so beautiful I definitely could've stayed longer.
Special thanks to Terry whom is now very much part of our magical memories and for ensuring so many , WOW moments.
Thank you Wayne for the suggested itinery, it was perfect,we will definitely be in contact to use your company (and Terry) in future.

Excellent service, responsive and personalised and friendly
Wayne was very helpful and strived hard to ensure all our needs were met to our satisfaction.
He was proficient and clearly had a wealth of experience and always gave us good advise which on occasions also saved us money.
If like me you prefer a relaxing and a stress free holiday in Cape Town, go with Take 2 Tours and Wayne will ensure you have a great time and all your expectations are practicably met.

Wayne is an incredible tour guide. Friendly, super knowledgeable, and a great photographer to boot. He took us all over on our one day private tour and will absolutely contact him the next time we are in Cape Town. Highly recommended.

Me and my parents book the cape point tour and were delighted about the tips, history and how professinoal our guide was!
We had a full day tour with a private guide that understood that I had to translate all to my parents and he was super patient with it. He also kept warning us about the strong winds, giving us tips and worries about our safety
Absolutely recommend the company and ask for Abdul as your guide!

My husband and I recently returned from South Africa where we spent ten glorious days in Cape Town and four wonderful days on safari on the nearby Gondwana Private Game Reserve. Our trip was everything we could have wished for. We had done extensive research and in numerous resources we read glowing reviews of Take2Tours and its director, Wayne Milne. The reviews stated that Wayne was knowledgeable, personable, resourceful, flexible, and accommodating in all circumstances. We found this to be totally true. We booked Wayne for six days of touring and in advance of our departure for South Africa, I prepared and sent to him a list of Cape Town’s highlights that we hoped to see. He read and absorbed our ideas, combined them with some of his own, and organized our entire time in Cape Town. We wanted our safari location to be reasonably close to Cape Town and Wayne recommended Gondwana Private Game Reserve, which had not been listed in any of the guide books we consulted. Gondwana was only an hour’s flight from Cape Town and it fulfilled our safari dreams perfectly. We spent six delightful days with Wayne touring Cape Town itself, the wine country, the small waterfront towns south of Cape Town, and finally Cape Point. Every day was filled with highlights and discoveries but in addition, we were relaxed and comfortable with Wayne, delighted in his knowledge and love of Cape Town and its offerings, and we felt enriched because he shared everything he knew about everything we saw. We came home aglow from the entire trip. We feel most fortunate to have spent so much of our time in Cape Town with Wayne Milne and we urge those going there to avail themselves of his services.

Wayne, of Take 2 Tours, is an outstanding guide. My husband and I have done a lot of traveling and can say, without a doubt, he is the best we've ever had!! He is extremely knowledgeable and is passionate about his work. We were amazed at his attention to all the little details and how he adapted our itinerary once we arrived, as he learned more about our interests. Wayne is more than just a guide; he is also a personal executive assistant. He booked our dinners; he spoke with the hotel manager when we shared some issues we were having; he took care of our large pieces of luggage when we flew for a 4 day safari.... just to name a few of the things he did. Wayne is a kind, caring person who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you, Wayne, for making our time in Cape Town and Stellenbosch so special and memorable.

Thank you Wayne! We had a really enjoyable day round the Cape with Wayne. Very patient!! Took us where we wanted to go and no rushing. Waited while we hiked up to the Cape lighthouse.
My wife still talks about the Calamari she had in the restaurant Wayne took us to in Simonstown.
Wish we had known you covered other areas for some of our earlier trips.

We had an excellent day tour with Wayne as our guide. His knowledge and passion for the area , wines , country and people is huge - delivered with a great sense of humour too !
We travel a lot and have used many tour guides in the past but we can honestly say that Wayne is top of the pile !
He was recommended to us and we have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

We booked with Take2Tours for our Stellenbosch day wine tour, where I had also planned on proposing. The whole day was incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Wayne was an excellent guide and provided us with the best experience from start to finish. He was flexible and accommodating to all of our needs including helping make the proposal so special for both of us! I would highly recommend booking your tours with Take2Tours. Thank you!

How much per person is the tour from Newlands Cape Town to the Cape of Good hope during November?

We don't charge per person rates. Usually for 2-5 people we currently charge R3650 excluding entry fees to the Cape of Good Hope and the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. It is expected that our rates will increase by about 6% before the end of 2019 in line with inflation.

I am first going to Uganda to see Gorillas then to South Africa and doing Sabi Sands Safari. Then I'd like to spend 3 days in Cape Town. I'm using a travel agency to plan the Gorillas and Safari but I wonder if I could plan the Cape Town part myself and use Wayne to help me finalize a plan those days and drive and guide the four of us? I hate to pay the agency so much for the Cape Town part of the plan when I know what I want to do and just need a driver/guide).

Don't know if this question was directed to me or generic on Take2, but I apologize if to me and I didn't see same until now (when I saw an unrelated email alert) and maybe my answer now moot, but anyway - all initial and subsequent contact until arrival/pickup was via email with no complications (and any delays were typically my own). I originally pulled the email from online sources. I know he also has an ig account that is now regularly updated as a possible secondary means of contact. That being said, I will acknowledge that I had done substantial research before initially contacting him (or any other service) couple months in advance via email.
