I would just like thank you for really super “sidecar adventure”. It was a real hit as a birthday surprise, and our photos have probably been around the world at least twice!! Ivan was a great guide/driver, our route was lovely and we enjoyed seeing our beautiful city from another angle. Topped off with champagne on Chappies — what could be better!? Everyone we met in Salt River was so welcoming and friendly, and we look forward to doing another trip sometime soon.

Four of us had a fabulous tour with Bev and Ivan. They were great drivers and very knowledgable and friendly tour guides. We've done the area a couple of times before by self-driving, but this was a much more fun way to do it. I was a bit apprehensive before we set out, not being a great fan of motorbikes, but I felt very safe at the maximum, sedate speed of 50kph. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone. Thanks again guys. We will be back!!

Thankfully you managed to get your trip in before our countrywide corona lockdown! Our drivers, Bev and Ivan, are national treasures, and we're so lucky to be able to feature them as part of your sidecar experience. Fun and safety are our highest priorities at Cape Sidecar Adventures & i'm glad you experienced both on your outing. Waiting to host you once again in the not too distant future!

This is a must! I highly recommend doing this. It was one of the funnest things I've ever done! Period! I've traveled all over the world and this was a blast. I couldn't stop laughing and smiling the whole time. We did wineries and the penguins. The wineries were the most beautiful I've ever seen! Bradley was our driver and we loved him! He made us feel comfortable, safe, and he is such a wonderful guy!

Great reviews, such as yours, would never be possible without staff like Bradley who make a point of going beyond the call of duty to make our guests' experiences unforgettable. Hope to see you back on our bikes again someday soon.

Tim was very knowledgeable and a great guide. Ride was heaps of fun, particularly shared with his dog in sunglasses, who got plenty of attention. Recommended!

Thanks for the review. Brody, our mascot, thinks he's the coolest mutt in town with his personal, tinted, doggles! If you'd like him to join you on your outing, you'll need to book him in advance & also arrive with a handful of biltong (beef jerky) which is his standard charge. Hope to see you again.

Yes! DO THIS! Stop reading, check your schedule, and go book your ride with Cape Sidecar Adventures for as early in your trip as possible. Never been to Cape Town? This is how you want to be introduced to this beautiful city. Let me tell you why... then let me tell you how much FUN you will have! Undoubtedly Cape Sidecar Adventures is the BEST way to SEE Cape Town. In a bus or a car you will be craning your neck trying to peer out a window at the incredible scenery around you. Whether you are riding in the sidecar or comfortably behind your driver, you will be getting 360° views of the beautiful beaches, of Table Mountain and Chapman's Peak, all unencumbered by things like windows or windshields. You will have a personal guide to help you get to know the city, it's history and culture. You will be comfortable in the gear they provide, you can take pictures from the sidecar - better than any you could get from a hop on hop off bus, or tour car. You'll have the sky open above you, the wind in your face as the beauty of Cape Town surrounds you. If you're lucky enough to have Bev or Bradley as your drivers, you will enjoy the warmth and hospitality of Cape Town natives who love their city and love sharing it. As you are driven along the coast you will be greeted by smiles and waves from everyone you pass, giving you the warmest welcome any tourist could wish for in any city. Do you want to make this incredible experience even more memorable and exciting? Do you want to be the center of attention from EVERONE you encounter on your beautiful ride around Cape Town? Take a tandem and ask if Brody can be your co-pilot. Brody, in his doggles, will make you an instant celebrity. The smiles and laughter that greet you with Brody resting his chin on your shoulder as you whizz by make this tour a truly unforgettable experience. Do's and Dont's DO seriously consider the full peninsula tour. We didn't want our 4 hour tour to end! DO take your camera! The views are incredible. DO ask for Brody! He's awesomesauce squared. DON'T be shy - you will be noticed! DON'T pass up this opportunity. Fun is the way to start your holiday, and this tour is the most fun you can have on three wheels!

Hi there Susan, In all my years of responding to our sidecar reviews, I've yet to encounter a review that has been written with such eloquence & passion as yours! It's such a privilege for the team here at Cape Sidecars to be able to create such emotions and such happy memories. Very humbling, indeed. Our drivers, Bev & Brad, are gems & our canine mascot, Brody, is a legend. Thanks for your generous review & look forward to seeing you again for the classic full day outing!
