Overview
More
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider crabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthrall.

Quite fascinating to water/sea creatures live at a very close range. Very good for kids. Saw some species that I never knew existed. Good value for money, and very educative, especially for kids.

A very nice aquarium with all kinds of species I’ve never seen before. The area with the big aquarium is really impressive. Huge fish swim in there.

The aquarium is in the centre of Cape Town old docks, now a shopping and leisure activities centre. The aquarium is well laid out and we spent a a good couple of hours seeing the various tanks, watching the sharks and rays. The large display...More

This place is definitely worth a visit! We enjoyed the experience. The shark-tank is great, the many Nemos made us smile and penguins are cute. All animals seem to be doing ok in their habitats.

The Two Oceans Aquarium has undergone a major upgrade over the last few years and the new (and existing) exhibits are well worth a visit, even if you’ve been there before. Apart from the exhibits themselves, there are food and drink options and an excellent...More

I think this is well worth the visit. Very informative we saw a shark dissection live and found it fun, informative and important to understand the history of sharks in this area.

This is a great place to teach and connect your kids with nature. Especially there is a section where you can see a trainer trying to feed the microscopic fishes, that's the best sight. The other one was the full screen aquarium, although I do...More

This is definitely a winner way to see all the creatures of the sea. There is everything here and I can definitely recommend waiting to see the penguins being fed at either 11h30 or 14h30. The shark tank is amazing and I love the “underwater”...More

The aquarium is probably best for children and it seems well laid out. You can spend as long or as little time here depending on any past experiences in similar places. After visiting the aquarium in Kuala Lumpur we haven't found this one very interesting...More

You need to log onto the Aquarium Facebook page on your computer, not mobile. Like the page and you will see the Been There TV button. Click on that and search for your photos according to date and time.
