About
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to sea turtles and shoals of shimmering fish, the aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Come face-to-face with giant spider crabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Ocean Exhibit, with its 9m long window, and 10m long full tunnel. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive in this exhibit with shoals of fish and turtles. The Jelly gallery is sure to mesmerize and enthrall.

Kids always seem to love aquariums, and our kids loved this place. We wanted to try to the diving experience but they have limited time spots available. Technically, the aquarium does not have the true junction between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

Went with our grandson on an interesting visit to the aquarium.
As he had been so many times previously, he was our unofficial but able and willing "tour guide".
Were happy to be given senior's and student's discounts.
Was in time to witness the feeding of the sharks. Fascinating creatures!
Rest of the aquarium was equally awe inspiring.
Our grandson, then, took us to the seals just outside the building .... his favourite sea animals!
After that, rewarded him (and ourselves) with a lovely lunch at the Woolies Restaurant ... another place worth visiting!

It was an absolute amazing experience. Me and my girlfriend did the scuba diving experience with Josh being our instructor. Josh was absolutely amazing and had all the patience in the world getting us accustomed to the scuba gear as both of us dived for the very first time. His experience and instructions where clear and unmatched. A special thanks to Lehandri for all of the special arrangements and effort to make this an unforgettable moment. Well done to the team!!!!

We love the aquarium!

Today, my teenage son had the best diving experience (2 hours) with Josh vV. He was totally awesome throughout and is so highly recommended for your ocean dive.

I'm a certified Scuba diver with about 200 dives. I have more than just the NAUI beginning certification. I'm nitrox certified and have been down to 170 feet, which is not deep but it's beyond the maximum depth for sport divers. So I've seen lots of fish and dolphins and marine invertebrates. But my dives have been in warmer climates, like Belize, the Cayman Islands, the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, French Polynesia. But I certainly enjoyed visiting this aquarium. I love large aquariums, so long as they are well maintained, well stocked, and include some unusual animals.

This place was busy. Singles, couples, families were here.

We booked the "Behind the scene" experience.
What a fantastic to see all the things going on in the back.
We got lucky as we were the only one taking part of the tour and benefited of an exclusive tour. Our guide was amazing and full of anecdotes about the workings of the aquarium.
The machinery, nursery, close encounters with the "residents" with their back stories was simply awesome.
Highly recommend that type of visit

Very well kept aquarium and exhibits. Animals are very well taken care off. The ethos of Two Oceans aquarium can also be seen in the multitude of work that this organisation does around the Cape coast, through their help towards injured marine life and the preservation of our coastline and ocean. It is great to know that the entrance fee goes towards such a well kept educational and conservation organisation and aquarium. In a time where our marine life face huge threats, this aquarium and foundation is a shining beacon of light and hope. It is great that there are places such as these where we can help to nurture a passion for conservation in current and future generations. Highly recommend.
