Educational tour from past actions during the height of Apartheid. The prison is only a glimpse into the atrocities committed against all political prisoners held captive there.

A great boat ride across to Robben Island, caught from The Gateway at V&A Waterfront. Tour guides were very informative. Came away with a lot more knowledge than I went with.

Be prepared for a choppy boat ride. The guides were excellent/former prisoners. The bus ride over the island was interesting. The tour of the actual prison was very moving.
