Though the beach is still popular, the elegant splendor that once graced this seaside resort community barely shows through the paved-over streets, fast-food eateries and shopping centers.

Slides are the most fun in this beach but please I advise you not to come on windy days. Its a horrible experience you eat sand the whole time.

Lovely beach when the wind is not blowing - the new restaurants in the area are adding to the eclectic vibe

One of the most striking things you notice about Muizenberg beach is the shark alert flag! When it is up, no going into the water! Although this is one very beautiful beach, water sports and swimming are not the only thing you can do around...More

Muizenberg Beach reminded me a bit like Sydney's Manly Beach back in the 1960s. It's a nice beach, but looking a bit jaded. The painted changing rooms are interesting and the beach is quite wide. There is mini golf and other attractions there, it just...More

Quaint little town, was very deserted on the beach as it was wintertime. Lovely colourful little cabins ad a dash of brightness to the day

I spent about two hours here one Thursday afternoon in March. There is plenty of street and proper car parking. I took the boardwalk towards St James - you are very close to the sea and if the tide is coming in you do need...More

Take in the panoramic views of this iconic beach with it's miles of golden sands and ice blue sea. Multi coloured beach huts are a nice touch. Crazy golf for the family nearby

A huge beach - best known for Swimming Surfing & BodyBoarding. For a long time not one of my favourites due to neglect in the past but currently undergoing a revival with some really cute coffee shops around. Under-developed for the potential this huge beach...More

The other bus company Golden Arrow might go that way. There is always the train but only if you’re adventurous as it is apparently dangerous.
