A must-do if you have children who love big wheels :) The views are good, though we went at dusk, so probably not the best time in the day. Haven't quite figured out what the VIP black carriage might offer in addition to what we've experienced as 'normal' visitors ...

It was the first thing my family and I did upon arrival to Cape Town and it was definitely a good way to start our vacation! Incredible views of the Waterfront and of the city! Souvenir pictures were sold at a reasonable price!

Situated in the V&A Waterfront, its a must do just to see the sights beneath you. Not expensive and feels safe and secure.

The Cape Wheel is visible from all of the waterfront. It actually helps you find your way to the waterfront if you are on foot. It looks quite fancy and nice lit up at night. Makes for part of the lively atmosphere at the waterfront.

The gondolas are air conditioned, so regardless of the heat or cold, you will be comfortable. My companions were two young boys aged 4 and six. The wheel turns 4 revolutions so you get plenty of time to take all the photos you may need. As you enter an Official Photographer will take some shots which you may purchase upon... More

We went on Cape wheel after dinner one evening. Really good views from the top, Capetown is a very windy city & you really experience the howling wind while on this, a bit un-nerving, but the wine with our dnner gave us extra courage. After the ride you will be offered photos, would have preferred real photos of where we... More

Similar to London eye, but much smaller. Located in V&A Waterfront and will give you a view from different perspective to the mother city.
