If was OK. We went on at night as we decided that the views during to day wouldn't be as spectacular as those from signal hill. Lights and view of harbour at night was pretty.

Quite spectacular views on a sparkling, sunny day. The views are panoramic of the waterfront and shops.

You can certainly get great views from this wheel but it goes just a little quickly for my liking and the windows were too dirty to get decent photos. However, certainly good for a look around .

Absolutely love the first three times the wheel went around. However the wind is very strong and you can only watch the view for so long. Much cheaper and beautiful when you go up signal hill. But i loved the experience.

Thank you, glad you loved it. Yes signal hill is a great hike to see the views but the convenience of riding the wheel is what draws the people to enjoy this too.

At 40m height it's not the Millennium Wheel but this appropriately sized Cape Town attraction will give you a good turn for the money. Great view of the V&A, Port Complex, City Bowl and the surrounding mountains. Four spins gives just enough time to catch...More

Right in the center of the V&A waterfront. The view is worth the price! Don't miss this is you are visiting the waterfront!

Four rotations of the wheel and it was great! On a clear day you can see both the mountain and, of course, the harbour. Its one of those things you have to do in central V&A. We always felt safe and there was plenty of...More

Nice little side trip for something to do at the Waterfront area. I thought the price was a bit steep at 120 rand for 4 rotations of the wheel, but the views make it worthwhile. If you can't get to Table Mountain come here and...More

Not unlike wheels in other cities, but it does give you a unique view over the V&A. If you do the city sightseeing bus as we did, check the back of your ticket as we got 20% off the price, which made it worth it...More

Yes the day trip is very different and you get more view, especially of the mountain and over the sea into the distance. But the night view is romantic too with the lights of Cape Town on display. Sunset will give you a different experience...More

I like Ferris Wheels. This one is certainly worth a visit. The price was reasonable. I only wish we could have gone around a few more times.

No unfortunately not. we are also pensioners and had to enjoy the event at full price. I do wish Cape Town was more accommodating to the elderly. still worth it though.
