On a beautiful afternoon like the one we experienced, it is a great activity for the whole family. The price is reasonable, the views from the wheel are spectacular and must-do when you visit the V & A Waterfront.

We decided to take a ride just for a romantic ride. The views are spectacular of a clear day but we rode it on a cloudy day. We did enjoy the ride.

Very reasonably priced - you area treated to views over the waterfront and as long as its not too busy, can choose when you want to get off!

My wife gets sea sick but wanted to see the harbour. The Cape Wheel is a gentle way to get a view of both the harbour and the city.

yep - a big wheel that goes around - nothing special - some decent views - nothing you cant get by going up table mountain (which i suggest). London eye is a lot better and similar pricing - can avoid this one but we did...More

The changing views of the night lights of Cape Town is spectacular during the four turns of the Cape wheel. However, I don't think one really get worth for your money. A visit to Table Mountain is more cost effective.

You get excellent views of Table Mountain and all surrounding areas of the V&A with 3-4 stops at the top to take all the photo's you want.
