We didn't go on the wheel as I think it was closed when we went to The Waterfront - probably because of the Christmas holidays - but it looked cool. We wish it had been open as it would have been great to get this...More

The wheel offers great views of V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, the Zeitz, and the stadium. The ride was well worth the price of admission.

Goes around 4-5 times. Has nice views, especially of the V&A waterfront. Sways a lot at the top due to the winds in Cape Town. Overall, was relaxing.

We did not know about the Ferris wheel until we got to the waterfront. Even tho it was a hazy day, we could see forever! Glad we did the waterfront rather than go up to Table Mtn. as we could see as far as possible...More

So, this doesn't take as long as the London Eye (its a lot smaller) you go round four times - but it is a good bit of fun if there's a small group of you! Would recommend.
