Great views, friendly staff -- recommended

It is a quick way to get a good grasp of the city and surrounding area, including great views of Table Mountain and the harbor (Waterfront) Touristy, but worthwhile.

I wasn't going to go up in the Wheel, but my friend's 7 year old wanted to go and she paid for me, so I did. No one else was going up, so we did. And it does have great views, but so does the top of Table Mountain. Granted, you see a better view of the waterfront from the... More

We could see the big wheel from where we were having our dinner so thought we should have a go. It was dark outside so the views were of the bright city lights, magically setting Cape Town alight. I would definitely recommend it for an after dinner activity.

A great addition to the Waterfront, with great views, but too pricey and too short a trip. The pics they try to sell you afterwards are pointless, considering you can take better pics with your own camera or smartphone.

Hubby thought it a bit childish (77) but we still did it. Great overview of Waterfront & wharf with Table Mountain in the background. Photos at the bottom, we did that, seems purchasing them supports a charity.

Safe, clean and accessible with lovely views of the Waterfront and beyond, and an option to buy a family photo which was a little overpriced.
