The Cape Wheel is a giant observation wheel that offers a spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of Cape Town from the iconic and vibrant V&A Waterfront precinct. Your viewing experience across the Mother City includes Table Mountain, Robben Island, Cape Town City skyline, Paarl Mountains, and the Cape Town Stadium. The Cape Wheel offers 30 fully enclosed air conditioned cabins that will take you 40 metres above the ground in safety and comfort on the 12 - 15 minute, 4 revolution ride. The wheel also offers two wheelchair friendly and accessible cabins.

This isnt as big as the London eye or the Singapore flyer but still a nice way to see the V&A Waterfront from a birds eye view.

If you have the time do this, it's exactly what you would expect from a big wheel... fun, a bit scary if heights bother you, great views and a great holiday memory. Just do it!

Ticket for this was included in our hop on hop off bus package so we did it. Nice view, and no lines/waiting. Not sure of the cost otherwise

This is a mini wheel that travels at a snail's pace. Yes, the views are breathtaking and kids love this ride but it's expensive, especially if you're a big family.
