We decided to take a ride on the wheel on a sunny clear day. The queue was short, the staff were friendly so decided to take a ride. You get a pod to ride in with just the people in your group, it has air...More
Thank you for the review, we're glad you enjoyed the ride and overall experience.
It was a nice sunny day, and it's a fairly quick ride, with a short line, but then again it is expensive, and the view from the wheel really isn't that special. I would skip it, if you're considering it when visiting the city. The...More
We were supposed to be going on the Nelson Mandela tour but we missed the ferry. I was super sad and angry. No more tours for the day. So we are are walking around the water front and we decide to do the wheel. It...More
Thank you for the review. We're so glad you enjoyed the wheel & the awesome views.
This isnt as big as the London eye or the Singapore flyer but still a nice way to see the V&A Waterfront from a birds eye view.
Thank you for the review. We're so happy you enjoyed the ride and got to see some great views.
If you have the time do this, it's exactly what you would expect from a big wheel... fun, a bit scary if heights bother you, great views and a great holiday memory. Just do it!
Thank you for the review - we're glad you enjoyed the ride.
Ticket for this was included in our hop on hop off bus package so we did it. Nice view, and no lines/waiting. Not sure of the cost otherwise
Thank you for the review - we're happy you enjoyed the ride and the amazing views.

This is a mini wheel that travels at a snail's pace. Yes, the views are breathtaking and kids love this ride but it's expensive, especially if you're a big family.
Thank you for the review, we're glad the kids enjoyed their time and got to see Cape Town in a different view.
I didn't ride the ferris wheel but it is a prominent feature of the V & A Waterfront area. I'm sure the views from the top are spectacular. (I have motion sickness so I didn't chance it.) It is right in the heart of the...More
