Bugz Family PlayPark is the largest playpark in the Western Cape! WOW! We have a world of activities for kids who love climbing, jumping, running, exploring, thinking and engaging with a range of zones we've worked very hard to build. You see everything we've built has a purpose - to help bright buttons grow through play. Our massive outdoor playground will challenge little minds, work little muscles and burn off some of that endless energy the right way. Our magnificent indoor area is for kids aged 2-10 and filled with obstacles, challenges and imagination-expanding FUN! We say no to keeping kids bored indoors all day and yes to learning through play, it's The Bugz Way.

My daughter recently attended a 5th birthday party at the Bugz Playpark and she loved it. They have different themed party areas (some indoors and some outdoors), perfect for any kid's taste. There's a convenient kiosk and cafe offering snacks and drinks (both hot and cold), but no alcohol is sold on the premises. Note that outside food and drinks aren't permitted. What really impressed me was the wide variety of play areas. They have something for everyone, with indoor jungle gyms, outdoor play structures, and even a petting zoo. Rides are also available, catering for kids ages 3 to 12, and are included in some of the kids' party packages as well. On warm days, they even have water activities set up, so remember to pack swimsuits for the kids. The kids were entertained the whole time, and I will definitely be taking mine back there again soon.

I had my son's 3rd birthday party there on the 8 Jan 2022.
The park itself was amazing with so many activities to do. The staff was professional and friendly and the party venue and set up was better than I thought it would be.
The only thing that put me off was that I had an inside venue and it was +30 degrees outside which meant it was a sauna inside. There were fans but not enough to keep the place cool and no fans were pointed on our party venue so it was extremely hot.
My only suggestion is please consider adding an Aircon or investing in more fans.

Had my sons birthday party at Bugz and it was delightful.
Service was excellent I would however advise that they update their menu with some vegan items.
My son and our guest had a great time, thank you Bugz Playpark 😁

We held our daughter's 3rd birthday party at Bugz on 6 November and I was extremely satisfied with the service I got from all the staff. From the start communication was excellent and expectations were managed.
On the day of the event I had a dedicated staff member who took care of all our needs with a smile.
All the kids (and adults) had a wonderful time and I definitely feel that I got my money's worth.
Most certainly recommend this venue for all parents and kids.

On Saturday afternoon we had our sons 5th birthday party at bugs. Everyone had an amazing time and couldn't thank us enough for the fun party. The kids had an absolute blast!
Due to covid my son was not able to have his party on the date we had booked as the park was not open but as a gift to make my son feel better we postponed the party to the following month and Bugs gave him a free unlimited pass for an entire year. My son was over the moon and so thankful.
Everything was done for us, the set up the cleaning, etc. Jade our party hostess was amazing and very attentive. We arrived early and it wasn't a problem at all. They really are very accommodating. The food was fantastic and everyone loved the platters.
Well done bugs, you will most certainly be seeing us very soon.

I decided to take my grandson during the holidays.
I was shocked to see that it costs R190. for a child, Adults R70. but for me a pensioner only R45(that was good). You are not allowed to bring in your own food because they have Cafes etc. They actually check any baskets to see if you are bringing in any food. I bought food at lunch time and it was quite good and reasonably priced. We even had dessert and chocolates.
Only children are allowed to do rides. Because it was his first time he was a bit sceptcal. He trid the Maypole but he said the swings were to fast, the train would be too fast and the paddle boats could be too deep! .I had to coax him to try something otherwise I would have wasted my money.
Eventually he went on the horse and thoroughly enjoyed it, even went a second time.
After that he loosened up and did the Zipline and the water fountains. When he discovered that the waterslide was good and he made some friends he had a blast.
Had to drag him away at closing time and then he tried the paddle boats on our way out.
I had to promise that we would come again and bring a friend. It could be costly, so maybe they can give a discount on multiple children ?.

What an amazing experience. We had our daughter’s 6th birthday party at Bugz. Friendly, quick service from the online booking to the end of the party. Everything is planned with the smallest of detail. Nothing is too much to ask. They go above and beyond to meet any customers’ needs. They let you step into a magical world once you enter your private venue. Advice to party goers-let your guests come earlier, and DON’T forget their swimwear- the kids loved all the entertainment, especially the water activities and I for one struggled to get my own child back out of the gate to go home :-)
PS.....we are going back for a definite full day play fun very soon.

What an amazing experience we had for our first Bugz Playpark Birthday party, my 5 year old daughter's princess party, from the effortless planning of the booking, to the very end, Marna was hands on with our booking and answered any questions I had, resolved queries so quickly.
The party was set up so neatly and on point, the cake, everything!
I loved the fact that it was outdoors and that they sanitised the little kiddies hands before and after every ride.
It was definitely worth the while.
The kids had so much fun!!!

Love this place. Something for all babies, toddlers and kids under 10. Recently celebrated my kiddos 6th birthday here. Party planning, catering and decor all made very easy. Bugz team took care of everything. Party slot is 2 hours wish we had a option for 3hrs but after the party guests can stay in the park till closing time just you don't have a private area anymore. Catering is also excellent and affordable. Thank you for the day and Nicole our party host was really nice.

We celebrated our kids birthday party there and beside that the children had the best day ever, us big folk could enjoy it with them. Everything was taken of for us.
Value for money, amazing venue, tons of fun, hassle free organising, no stress for mom and dad, all around win!

We are not a halaal certified establishment. However, upon request we purchase products from halaal certified suppliers to supply at parties. E.g at a party the hotdogs will have viennas in that have been purchased from a halaal certified supplier. All products that been purchased from halaal certified suppliers are stored and prepared separately.
