One of the last cabins in order to enjoy the sunset

The crowds amass in front of Capetown's monument, but there is a good reason: the view is one of a kind.Absolutely worth it.

First, check the place is open and that there is no cloud - that's what their website offers. Then book on-line to save time and money. Follow their advice on how to get there. Take strong shoes. And enjoy. There are three walks to accommodate different needs. Just take your pick and enjoy. We did, though went for the simple... More

For 2017 I decided to spend my day on Table Mountain. It was February and the weather was great. It cost R255 per person. The food was reasonably priced. We had sundowners in the wifi bar area after lunch and a long walk on the mountain. It is a view to behold over the Cape Peninsula.

I know everyone goes here, but when you get to the top it's worth the wait. Don't rush to get in the cable car for the best view, because the floor revolves and everyone gets a look.

please book online to avoid the queues. Also check the weather before you go as the mountain tours are often cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

This is truly a natural wonder. We didn't traverse the flat top but we could have for a couple of miles. The 360 view of Cape Town, the beaches and surrounding mountains is breathtaking

This is quite simply the most beautiful feature Cape Town has to offer. It is the sort of experience that will stay with you as long as you live after visiting it.

A must visit for either family , groups or just as a couple. If on a world tourism/travel package, this is one of the must visit areas ; and of course including going up Table Mountain itself.

5 minute ride in the gondola, don't fight for a window as the floor turns as you go. Can be closed if very cloudy or wet. Take time to walk at the top. Lunch, snacks & toilets available at the top.

Having read that pre-booking was not such a good idea because it may be cloudy we just turned up. People who pre-booked seemed to wait a long time. We waited a hour and a quarter (not a great deal of fun in the hot sun with a four year old), take drinks and snacks! When we were sold the tickets... More
