Really gorgeous views an a reasonable hike for most if you walk slowly. It is certainly a strong landscape feature very unique and beautiful.

The views from the bottom of the cable car are amazing. Unfortunately went when it was very cloudy as I didn't have much time. The staff are very good - they will inform you if visibility is low so you can go on another day....More

Visited the mountain after a storm, the views were clear and the mountain air was crisp. Definitely a must when in Capetown, we were glad we got the chance. If you combine it with a hop on hop off bus it will take you all...More

The walk starts at the beautiful botanical gardens and takes around 1.5 hours up. It's an absolutely gorgeous hike which includes scrambling over rocks and climbing up ladders!! It's not easy and is challenging in parts but totally worth the climb. Loved it

We were there on a clear breezy day - it was awesome! We decided to go later in the day to avoid to crowds that were caused by it being a national holiday.

When navigating with Google maps look for 'lower cableway station'. You can park either on the road before or after. Tip the guys watching your car 5-10R when you come back. There is a walk up to the right of the station, and when (facing...More

Hi I will be going for a business trip to Johannesburg in May 2017. I would also like to join the safari package in Kruger Park. How many days package should I select? My kids love animals. After my business meeting in Johannesburg, I plan to visit Cape Town. How many days do you recommend to stay in order to cover all the interesting places? I was planning for 3 days. Also, would you recommend that I stay in city centre? Is public transport easily accessible?

2 full days for kruger, and 3 days for Cape Town are enough. Stay in Cape town city centre, easy transport, uber or hop on hop off buses.

Hi we are visiting SA for 8 days later this month and Table Mountain is high on the list of must do's. However our time in Cape Town is limited and we only have 2 full days. Typically how long should I allow to do this trip? Thanks in advance.

You could make up and be down again within 2,5 hrs. If you climb efficiently (few stops) and go down with the cable car not long after you reach the top, that should work. If you have 2 days, i suggest you also take the... More
