I am not a fit/sporty person but hiked on different occasions 5 times - I have arthritis but managed to go up and down. a beautiful scenic hike if you stop and rest and look around. Its not a difficult hike at all but it would be best to have comfortable flat shoes/hiking boots or walking shoes. Breathtaking views when... More

Nice for a visit by car or via hop-on hop-off or go via the cable car. One of the must see besides the dock area while in Cape Town.

My family loves the beach and I don't. Cape town is perfect for that. I was dropped at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. I went up Nursery ravine. The climb is steep but there are steps in most of the really steep places. The top of the ravine is not the highest point of table mountain so it is not as daunting... More

Well worth arriving early in the day as the queues can get long and the wind can (and does) get stronger in the afternoon resulting in the closure of the cable car. The only option then is for the really fit to walk (climb!) up. Once on top the views are spectacular and the local wildlife, distant cousins of the... More

Loved the cool cable car and amazing sights! Best views of the coast. Easy walk with lots of areas to sit and gaze. Bought the best t-shirt ever at the Gift Shop!

It is a must visit place, you can either hike or take the cable car.. If taking the cable car, make sure to book the ticket online beforehand in order to stay away from waiting inline to buy the tickets. Keep an eye on the official website to monitor when it will open as it depends on the wind. Take... More

This is the only way to get an appreciation of the City of Cape Town with Robben Island in the distance but quite visible

The view was spectacular! It made standing in line to get on the tram worth it. It was a particularly windy day, but that did not impeded the views at all. One thing that was a little concerning is that an alarm of sorts is sounded when access to the mountain top is closing. Visitors are to make their way... More
