We've done numerous hikes on and around Table Moun5ain and as members of the mountain club, we stayed overnight in the hut and watched the sunrise from above Cape Town. Skeleton Gorge to the cable car is a favourite trail!

This was the most amazing experience, day 1 in Cape Town. Beautiful views of the area. A must do when visiting Cape Town!

Table Mountain is a staple experience for Capetown and a definite must-see! From the ride up the standing cable car (with a rotating floor!) to the great gift shop and restaurant at the top with unparalleled views, this is a great stop! Expect it to...More

From the city, the top really seems flat. The view from the mountain is breathtaking, especially in the morning.

The cable car ride to the top is an eye popping experience in a 360 degree rotating car so everyone gets a good view. Once you are on top the "treasure is exposed" Nature's gifts surround you so take your time & look around. This...More

Walk up and take the cable car down and you will be in awe !! Look out for the dassie population and enjoy the amazing flowers . Go up at sunset and take a bottle of vino and snacks and watch the sun set

Highly recommend for those who like to go off the beaten track. Would recommend getting a guide when hiking in the winter due to rain. Signage is quite poor after the series of ladder.

We weren't familiar with the Table Mountain before the trip, but this is one of the best mountain views we have seen in our lives. We chose to take the cable car to go up, and queued 1.5 hour before finally stepping on the top...More

I had an enjoyable day walking the paths, taking in the sights and snapping some great pictures. The sights are breathtaking and everchanging with the clouds covering the mountain throughout the afternoon I was there. Plenty of flora and fauna to look at.

Lucky to make it before the aerial cableway goes into service next week. Lucky too to make the weather that it opens up at 8.30am and opening is dependent to inclement weather - fogs/wind/rain... It is breath taking and one marvels at Nature. Easily spent...More

2 full days for kruger, and 3 days for Cape Town are enough. Stay in Cape town city centre, easy transport, uber or hop on hop off buses.

You could make up and be down again within 2,5 hrs. If you climb efficiently (few stops) and go down with the cable car not long after you reach the top, that should work. If you have 2 days, i suggest you also take the... More
