We booked the "Cape Point & Peninsula Day Tour with E Bikes & Hiking", which was a great decision. Our guide, Bill, a very relaxed and nice person picked us up in the morning and with a group of seven people we started our journey. The day was very well organized and brought us to several nice spots around the western cape. We relly enjoyed the E-Bike ride within a breath-taking scenery as well as watching the penguins at Boulders beach or walkting up to the light house at the cape point. All in all it was a beautiful and rememberable day (also thanks to Bill), which we can highly recommend.

Joel our guide provided a great overview of Cape Town. The highlight for myself was Bo Paal district (I think it's the right name) with it's wonderful history and colourful buildings. I was given loads of time to see what I wanted and never felt rushed. The bikes were good quality, well maintained and very comfortable. Tom (Scotland)

Did the ebike Cape Point tour. Our first stop was a seal boating trip out to a colony. Wow... lots of seals and we pretty much had the boat to ourselves. Then it was off to try out the bikes out to Cape of Good Hope. This was an on road experience and unfortunately due to the weather we had to stop biking at the Cape of Good Hope. Then it was on to the penguin colony at Simonstown.... our guide, who was very knowledgeable about the history of South Africa, the flora and fauna etc advised us to just go to a nearby beach rather than the main boulder beach attraction. What a great find.... we were able to get closer to the penguins, and there were plenty of them to see! All in all, this is a great day out. The biking isn't difficult and its good to get out of a car and see some of the flora/fauna close up. It would have been nice to be able to get offroad, but this is still a great way to see the fynbos and scenery. Lunch was also very good. Highly recommended.

I did the Build up Tour, it is one of the best ways to experience the garden route from P.E. To Cape Town. You need to be able to ride your bike at a fairly high level or have an electric bike . The food is amazing and the accommodations stunning, you won’t be disappointed.

Having completed about 14 of these tours with Day Trippers, I am constantly amazed at the professional, friendly and efficient tour they deliver. I have had numerous opportunities to do bike tours in various parts of the world, and I can say without a doubt, that the best can take a a tip or three from Day Trippers. Well done - all things being equal, I'll be back next year.
