A great place to visit on a weekend.
Great environment for instant friendships and various cuisines.
The market has very many stalls selling jewellery, artisan leather and clothing , books, food, flowers and endless drinks.
Bringing everything together is a resident DJ.
A place that welcomes different ethnicities and style.

When I think about Cape Town, my mind immediately takes me too the Saturday Market at the Old Biscuit Mill.
A fantastic selection of international cuisines, great music and a fun environment, not to be missed by anyone of any age.
Do yourself a favour and add this as a destination to visit on your next trip. You will not be disappointed

Very urban spot in the centre of Woodstock/Cape Town, nice little alternative shops with art, fashion and accessories. Highly recommend to come here on Saturday or Sunday to the Neighborgoods Market, my favorite market in Cape Town. Live music or Djs, a huge hall with internanational food stands, cocktails, beer and wine. Such a vibe and atmosphere, people are dancing and chilling, absolutely love it!!!

Apart from a burger place and bakery there was very little there.
A few shops which did have nice bits bit the bazzar type shop was so overpriced for the area. I would say more expensive than similar shops in London.
The setting is quite nice but needs more things, perhaps it was just a midweek lull and better at weekends

The coconut guy was really unfocused, he ended up selling me old rotten coconut that had a weird taste, I couldn’t go back as I was already in the car driving. I wonder if he didn’t know or was it because he was more focus on flirting with girls
I really regret buying from him as a take away. Please be vigilant and taste your drink before you leave their Stand or you will end up like me…I don’t recommend take away from these guys

We bought some film for our camera, walked through various shops and stands, and then had some amazing food - too much to choose from! ⭐️

This is a development in up-and-coming Woodstock, where you have an upscale restaurant (taste kitchen) but also some clothes stores and some bars. I like the vibe here, very alternative and in an unusual place as well. Its small though, so you would not spend much time here but it’s good to do when it’s on your bucket list. Be aware in the area though, take the usual precessions.

The Old Biscuit Mill is definitely worth a visit. On weekends the market is busting a great (especially for foodies). During the week there is a lovey variety of stores - all of which are unique and interesting. Also a couple of places to eat too. A nice place to explore and shop.

Thin estimates is to go there and ask one of the stall operators, they will be able to direct you to the relevant people. Hope this helps

What would be the best way of getting to the biscuit mill from the V and A waterfront? We are heading there for the Saturday markets. We won't have a car.

Hi there. The best way to get around Cape Town without a car is to use Uber. They are very safe, quick and efficient. It would only take about 15 minutes to get to the Biscuit Mill from the V&A.

A local told me in April 2019 that it's nearly empty any day except for Saturday. I only visited on a Saturday. Ask a local when you visit to confirm what is available on other days.
hey there if I wanted to have a stall at the old biscuit mill on a Saturday, how do I go about it?
