We booked and paid for our Safari long before any of us had ever heard of covid. Five of us originally planned to go May 2020 and after anxiously waiting we were finally able to go in May 2021 and it was perfect in every way! The entire staff at Jumbari was outstanding to work with during the booking and planning stages, but what really impressed me was how they handled the situation during covid. There were so many unknowns, but they stayed in touch during the long year of waiting and they rebooked for us without additional costs or fees. They coordinated the details and logistics of covid testing and made the entire process stress free. We went to Victoria Falls, the Panorama Route, Kruger and Sabi Sands. We loved the accommodations and planned activities. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service provided by Jumbari. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them as a trusted partner. A company that performs as well as they did during this very challenging last year+ has earned a customer for life.

I worked with Julie to plan a 3 night safari to Kruger at Imbali Lodge. It was an absolutely amazing trip! The lodge was phenomenal and working with Julie was a delight. She worked out all of the details and it was perfection. I highly recommend Julie and her Team. Bravo!

We made the right choice when we selected Jumbari Family Safaris to book our 7 day trip to Africa. Zeena and Lisa were great to work with selecting the best accommodations at the Chobe Safari Lodge in Kasane and Pom Pom Camp in the Okavango Delta with safari experiences for us in an affordable price range. Botswana was truly the most amazing place to see the Big 5 and a wide assortment of other animals. We loved the land and the people, and an excursion to Victoria Falls was the frosting on the cake. this was truly a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. We are so glad we had the opportunity to do this before the world fell apart with Covid-19.

We have just finished a 9 night trip in South Africa, arranged by Jumbari Family Safaris. We visited lodges in Sabi Sands, Klaserie and Timbavati Concessions. The entire trip was fantastic. Lisa and Zeena from Jumbari were excellent agents from start to finish! We were interested in seeing the African wild dogs and rhino, specifically, and we did have amazing sightings of these, as well as seeing everything else you could imagine on a safari!!! Our trip was planned out excellently with Jumbari looking after all our accommodations and transfers, which all went as planned. Lisa and Zeena kept in touch with us throughout the safari and even arranged a wonderful special dinner for our wedding anniversary. (Thank you both!). The accommodation and food at each lodge was amazing. We could not have asked for better. The staff at all the lodges were very kind and friendly and really made us feel welcome. Our game drives were loaded with highlights and we loved every minute!

Owing to the usual distractions, we left the planning of the particulars of our ten days in Botswana to the last minute. We had a general idea of where we wanted to go, but not the logistics of moving from camp to camp. Once we got online, we were inundated with offers from various packagers, but most didn't meet our needs, Enter Will at Jumbari, in two days he had everything arranged so that we were able to de-stress and enjoy wonderful camps and experience the Africa we wanted to see: the big cats, hyenas, wild dogs and cats, all the usual big game, and birds. He hooked us up with Kwando one of the premier safari camp operators in Botswana and worked out all the logistics which are considerable. (see separate review) Jumbari knows southern Africa is honest, reliable, easy to work with and they deliver.
