Theatre on the Bay is one of Cape Towns favorite theaters, even though it's our neighborhood theater. Set in magnificent Camps Bay, with the sea in front and the mountains behind. It's not big, and can afford to put on intimate productions.

Had a Voucher for a Buffet Breakfast at Cupcake at Eden on the Bay. Disappointing brekkie. The spread was OK but the bacon was like "biltong" over fried and hard. Service was slow. Ordered tea, tea arrived but I had to request milk which EVENTUALLY...More

We have been going to the Theatre on the Bay for years. We just attended the show "Synergy" and thoroughly enjoyed it and strongly recommended that our friends go as well. It was absolutely fantastic and we are so looking forward to another wonderful show...More

Watched Pieter Dirk Uys at the Theatre on the Bay last night and besides this legend of an entertainer being amazing, the venue is very nice. It's awesome watching shows at such an great and well run venue. Always look for something to go and...More

The Pieter Dirk Uys show was delightfully wicked and admirably current and brimful with South African humour. PDU was as sharp as nails and didn't miss a beat. Thought-provoking and occasionally just provocative. The theatre itself is beautiful, cosy and comfortable with excellent acoustics. An...More

Date night at the theatre to watch 🎭! Pricilla, Queen of the Desert in Cape Town. What a spectacular production, complete with floating divas, ping-pong-ball-shooting (don’t ask) and a bus that is almost part of the cast. And, it's deliciously, happily, cleverly, upliftingly gay. Definitely...More

We saw the musical "Joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat" at the theatre last night and it was excellent. The dancing, harmonies, costumes and touch of humour made for a fun, memorable evening. Jonathan Roxmouth as Pharaoh was a treat and Earl Gregory a...More

Loved the Josephs technicolored dream coat. Great performers and service. Good food but the theatre seats are super hard. Can do with some loving.

The Theatre is well located and we were fortunate to find street parking right outside. Not a huge capacity and seats are comfortable with decent legroom. Bar service was snappy but the coffee side took ages (and made bad coffee) in the interval. Some ice...More

Please google What's on in Cape Town or Theatre on the Bay or Computicket. To the best of my knowledge there are performances most of the time.
