Fun and easy activity for all ages and fitness levels. Super cheap and kids can ride many times, you even get pulled to the top so no need to climb the hill.
My 10 & 13 year olds were kept amused for an hour or so.
Parents can sit in the bar and watch their children coming down.
Win, win for everyone.

The staff told us the routed are 3 minutes, and convinced us to buy family packages. The routes were 20 minutes, and we ended up with unused, non refundable tickets. Buy less.

Was my first time and pleasantly surprised, was really great and so worth it, I jut had two things I did not like it is on the pricey side but I can understand they have high overheads.
My biggest gripe is and luckily I was no affected but I saw it a few times there are people that does not like speed so they go extremely slow, as you are released a few seconds apart you can catch up to them super fast and all the fun is then gone as you are not allowed to stop completely and just have to sit behind them driving miss Daisy slow. Maybe they should have slots to say in this time only the fast can go to make it worth the while, would be a shame to pay the fee and go slower than what you can walk.

Overall good experience. The gardens are lovely and there was adequate shade and seating. The kids had a fun time and enjoyed all the foods. Staff was lovely.

This is the best toboggan ride we’ve ever done. It is safe and well managed. The price is reasonable. HINT: use your phone and buy the 18 ride family pass online and save money!
After reading the bad reviews and riding multiple times at this ride on a busy Sunday I have to conclude that riders who injure themselves are disregarding the clearly posted safety rules.
I’m 68 years old (old man!!!) and went fast down the course and never felt unsafe. The equipment is built with safety measures incorporated.
DO THIS if your find yourself in Cape Town!!

Overpriced and bad service.
The place is fun but very costly and staff and manager were very unhelpful when I wanted to make a complaint.
After paying twice as much for each ride as our kids were just below the required height to ride alone and had to go on the same toboggan as us, we were refused a free ride after being stuck behind someone who barely moved down the track and were told the company could not do anything about slow riders, even though the staff member sent us off on our run knowing the person in front was extremely slow and we would catch them.

All safety rules were ignored so that more people could ride and as a result my brothers toboggan flipped at the automated part of the ride, where you are on the belt that pulls you, resulting in a huge gash in his leg. Marshall's allowing people on their phones to completely bring riders behind them to a complete stop because they are taking pics and videos and have no hands on the controls to ride bringing their carts to a dead stop. me and fellow riders having to push ourselves to get our rides started again, after numerous complaints I was just told to come when it's quieter. I don't mind places being busy and having to go slower but the marshals did a poor job and the safety precautions were all ignored resulting in numerous crashes. I emailed them a week ago and not even the decency to respond

We went to this place the day after Christmas. Because it was a public holiday it was extremely busy. They were allowing way too many people on the track at a time which not only made it less fun as riders could not go very fast but more importantly, made it extremely dangerous as riders would need to suddenly stop to avoid hitting the backed up cars. Their signage says you have to keep 25 meters between cars and yet they were letting the cars go after 5-10 meters. Overall, the kids did have fun but they should definitely limit the number of tickets sold per day to keep it fun and safe.

Getting on the toboggan with my son it was immediately obvious that this was not safe. There are no seat belts to strap you in or helmets. It is also very awkward to control the lever with a child in front of you.
Unfortunately, my fears were correct after finishing the run with my oldest, my wife and 6 year old son who were next did not come down. Then there was a message for the medic to come to the top. Soon after that my wife phoned to say my 6 year old had flipped over.
The medic assisted them down and was very nice but my son had burns on both cheeks and is embarrassed to go out as people stare at him.
Luckily the damage is superficial but could’ve been a lot worse. Also, looking through the threads, there have been other similar if not worse incidences. I mentioned our experience to friends and two other people had accidents.
The safety authorities need to do a comprehensive compliance check because I don’t believe it should be operating in its current guise.
Please use this facility with the utmost caution.

My daughter and I had an awesome time, all the way from the Free State but if we ever visit CT again, this would absolutely be our first stop! Super super FUN!!!

An adult can go down with a child but unless you were two very small adults i’m not sure that you would both physically fit in the tobbaggon together ?
All I can say is that there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. to be scared of .... five year olds do this alone ! You have your own brake and can go down at a snails pace if you choose and none of the slopes are even remotely steep ....
As you build up confidence you can release your brake slightly and go a little faster and a little faster ......
