We stayed here on our way back from Cape Town and it really exceeded my expectations! The service is excellent and there are interesting things you can do - a short hike which leads to a bird hide on a large dam, you can hire mountain bikes or go for an afternoon sundowner. The swimming pool is wonderful!! We booked the 3 course dinner of Karoo Lamb and it was delicious. The self catering unit we stayed in is basic but well equipped.

After a disastrous night at a neighbouring establishment, it was really wonderful to stop at the Olive Grove Guest Farm for breakfast.
We called ahead of time to confirm that outsiders are welcomed for breakfast. We were given a gate code to enter the premises. It was a short but lovey drive through to the lodge and restaurant. A beautifully well kept garden was very welcoming.
We arrived to a happy and smiling staff that served us a great breakfast. We even stepped into the little shop to buy some bottled olives and olive body cream. Truly delightful short experience. Would recommend this place and look forward to booking a stay with them in the near future.

We stopped over on our way to the Western Cape. Although the owners were friendly we wouldn't stay there again. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The dinner was not worth R180.00 per head. The pool is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing.

This was our third overnight stay en route between Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Very peaceful. The room was clean and had everything needed for an overnight stay.
The evening meal and breakfast were good. We will be staying there again. I recommend it as an overnight stay.

This is the fourth time we have had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Olive Grove in Beaufort West. The chalets are clean and very comfortable. The cherry on the top for us is the wonderful welcome you receive, the excellent service, the most delicious Karoo dinner and the most magnificent sunsets over the olive orchards.
Thank you Valerie for making our stay as wonderful as always. Will be back for sure.

The hospitality from the time we arrived was amazing. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The 3 course dinner was sumptuous and well priced. Will return.

Although a lovely, quaint setting, Olive Grove Guest Farm needs some TLC. I last stopped here 10years ago and I don't think any maintenance and certainty no improvements have been done since. The exterior of the establishments look great but things are not as great internally. The chalets have all the basic amenities you need for a stop over but I could not see myself staying longer. The units are tired and until renovated I don't see myself returning.

We were fortunate to get a booking at short notice, probably because it was for a Sunday night. We were met by two very friendly ladies, one was the chef and the other was at reception and front of house. Our accommodation was superb and the meal was one of the tastiest I had for a long time. We had breakfast before departing and again was very impressed with the service and quality of the food. We'll recommend staying over here as it is only 15 kms out of town.

Olive grove is situated on the road from Outshoorn to Beaufort. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. You have dstv in the rooms. They have a pool. There are walks you can go on. Wifi is a very spotty. Good place to get away from the hussle of the big cities.
