The Boeteka Padstal has everything you expect from a farm stall including preserves, biscuits, curios and a restaurant. We visited them as I was recommended to get some of their Karoo Lamb Chops for our "braai" (barbecue) that evening by a friend who comes from the area. Although the chops were frozen the lady helped us select the freshest pack (packed that morning) and they were very tasty. They are about 10 minutes from the N1 turn off so it might be just out of the way for some, but if you are looking to explore a bit you can definitely give them a try.

We drove to get some lamb- all I can say is that it needs a good dusting and some organisation- but other then that has some interesting stuff in and some home made cookies - on the meiringspoort road coming from Beaufort West

Quirky mix of decor and junk :)
As good a spot to stop as any.
Clean toilets.
