The park has deteriorated quite a bit since our last visit. There are lots of potholes. The game viewing is awesome.

Saw a leopard, elliphants, zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Wildebeest, Kudus, Springbok, warthogs. What more can you ask for?

I have been coming into this game park for many years and every time is different.
It is 2 hours from Johannesburg
It is easily accessible and relatively inexpensive. It was very convenient being able to buy a permit for the week so we could come and go as we pleased.
Map and guide is excellent with loads of useful information.
The ablution facilities are clean and excellent - every single one. It was such a pleasure
The game is varied and astounding - we saw some of the best game in a long time.
The hides are being beautifully upgraded with the help from Friends of The Pilansberg who are doing an amazing job.
The tar road inside the park is full of potholes and needs attention as do some of the gravel roads but I am sure the parks management will get to this once the pandemic is over. We had not planned to self drive in the park so had hired a car that wasn't entirely suitable for some of the roads but next time we will know better

Cannot wait to go back.
