Well we do have a low range capability 4x4, but my husband is allergic to trail-bashing! This review is aimed at those considering visiting Namaqua out of flower season, and not necessarily wanting to do the Eco Trail. We visited the Park in February, and...More

We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The chalet was superbly equipped and the views from it exceptional. Can be cold even this time of the year in the evening or early morning so take a fleece or at least...More

What an absolutely beautiful place - unlike anything I've ever seen! We spent 4 days here and it was spectacular! Even though we didn't visit in the famed flower season, the scenery and terrain are amazing. Definitely only for 4x4's! We camped and Boulders Bay...More

Even though the flowers were not as spectacular as in previous years, the sight around the park of carpets of colour was beautiful. The Skilpad 5km round route is very touristy and we were lucky enough to take the less traveled Caracal route which takes...More

If you can cope with horribly corrugated roads don't miss the park in flower season. It is breathtakingly beautiful at Skilpad, the endless vistas of flowers has to be seen to be believed.

We visited the Skilpad side of the park and saw beautiful fields of wild flowers on the short 5km circle route. Get out of your car and have a closer look at the flowers and you will realise that there is a great variety and...More

Skuinsbaai Noord is one of the gems along the coastal section. A 4x4 is requiered for the sandy road. We booked both stands at Skuinsbaai Noord to be completely om our own. Some if the campsites have 4 or 5 stands and are more popular...More

Being my first visit to the flowers in Namaqualand, I was not disappointed in any way. It is an unbelievable sight to see so many different types of flowers all close together. I have posted just a small selection of the photographs I took, to...More

We'll be in the Namaqua National Park and surrounding area this weekend for a few days. For anybody currently there, what is latest news on flowers? Any specific places to visit?
