Ocean Commotion Charter’s offers deep sea fishing charters in St Lucia, South Africa. Deep sea fishing is done from a 30ft sports fishing boat motored by 2 x 200hp Suzuki motors. The boat is equipped with a comfortable cabin and toilet facilities. It is run by Jan and Fiona, who are both passionate anglers and have earned their provincial colours for fishing. Jan and Fiona have released 36 and 35 billfish respectively in local and international waters. Together they have tagged and released 42 sailfish in Kenya, 8 sailfish in Guatemala, and 4 bluefin tuna ranging from 700 to 800 pounds in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Locally, the pair has caught 27 billfish from their own boat. In 2011, they won the prestigious Billfish 15000 competition in Sodwana when they caught a total of 7 billfish in a week. We target Gamefish: Yellowfin tuna, Dorado, King Fish, Wahoo, King Mackerel and Sailfish. For Marlin fishing – November to May

Perfect fishing trip
Absolute professional skipper and good boat for fishing. My Fiancé and I recently went out deep sea fishing with Oom Jan & Sky. It was the first time for both of us and we were not 100% sure of what to expect. Oom Jan & Sky was extremely helpful and explained exactly what was going to happen every step of the way. My overall opinion of Oom Jan ,Sky and the trip is that they have the guests best intentions at heart, safety is their main priority and they have years of experience that shows from the second you meet them. We would recommend his tours to everyone, old and young with any level of experience. One of the best professional trips we have ever done. Good Luck for the future and we will definitely come back One time for fishing with Oom Jam at Ocean Commotion Deep Sea Fishing Charters

Thank you to Stuart our skipper and Dylan for making this one of the best experience for our family. As this was the first time for my kids (14 and 17 years) they fully enjoyed battling a Snoek. Both Stuart and Dylan are very knowledgeable about the ocean, the surroundings and fishing and we were informed on every aspect of the trip. We would def recommend Ocean Commotion Charters!

Stuart and Dylan are an efficient team. Stuart is clearly a responsible skipper and they both love fishing. We only booked a three hour trip but finally hooked our (great) catch of the day when our skipper made an extra pass after our time slot was already over. 17.7 Kg prodigal son. Might have better odds on a full day trip, but we were lucky this time. They were patient and helpful in the photo sessions and wrapping up after beaching.

We had a great day out on the sea. Saw Dolphins ,Caught fish and swam in the Ocean.The crew was really good and helpful. Highly recommended if you're a couple looking for an action packed Adventure on the sea. Really enjoyed it..

The facilities are immaculate. i just feel that more effort should be made to ensure optimal chances of catching fish even though i understand that it bis not guaranteed. the hosts are the best you will find but more must be done to try and catch fish like changing tackle , rapala's, lures etc.

We went deep sea fishing on their boat which is well kitted out. Their skipper Steward really worked hard to put us into fish and we were rewarded with dorado and yellow fin tuna, thanks guys!
