We were looking for a German-speaking guide and all arrangements were easily possible in German. Unfortunately, due to family matters, Mario was unable to accompany us himself, but he immediately provided a great replacement. Despite everything, both were always in contact to give us the best safari possible and Marios wife even organized a delicious braai for us in one of the Kruger Camp.

We have been on safaris with Wild Photo Africa a few times and their guides are the best!!! Every safari is an experience to be treasured.

We did a full day safari with Mario last Sunday. It was fantastic!! He is so knowledgeable about all aspects of the bush and so accomodating. We learnt so much. 5 stars service!!

We had such an awesome experience with Mario. This was a delayed 60th birthday present for me and didn’t disappoint!!
Before the day I was at best a basic photographer keen, but clueless. Mario was super patient with us both. Clear and non technical, his information was easily absorbed.
He adjusted settings on our cameras and within just a few hours we were taking photos at a level we would never have expected. Add to this his passion and knowledge of the bush and Mario completes the all round package.
We are not Big 5 chasers and this added to the day as we could spend the day learning about all types of animals and plants in Kruger.
Whether you are looking for a photographic experience or simply want a safari with one of the most genuine people we have come across, you won’t be disappointed.
10/10 for Mario.

What an absolute treat it was to be driven by Mario on our game drive. It was beyond our expectation. We saw the big 5 and a spectacular sighting of wild dog! Mario’s knowledge is incredible and a nicer guy you could not meet!

We booked a day safari with Mario from Wild Photo Africa Safari. He is very organized and all paperwork and permits were done when we arrived at the Numbi gate.
What a pleasant surprise! We received a life-changing experience on an open safari vehicle in the Kruger National Park. Our tour guide, Mario Paul, was absolutely professional and supremely skilled at spotting animals and birds from a moving vehicle. He could identify every animal and bird we spotted. We had ample sightings in the park. We saw all the big 5 animals and much more.
I would absolutely recommend him any day for a fantastic day in the park!

Wow, what an awesome experience! I’m a local and have never booked an open vehicle day trip before. But we had such an excellent day with Mario, that it is definitely something I will repeat!
We shared the vehicle with great friends and it was such a fun way to socialize. Shooting the breeze together, sharing awesome sights and stories. The kids loved being on the back seat and had a blast.
Mario is so knowledgeable and shared the exact right amount of interesting info about animals, birds, trees etc. My husband loves photography and Mario was always mindful of lining him up for great shots.
The best moment of the day was when we were the first to spot a leopard on the move. Within moments we were surrounded by lots of cars. Mario anticipated where the leopard was heading and knew the terrain so well that we left the ‘herd of cars’ and managed to get in the perfect position on another road (all alone) just in time for the leopard to stroll right towards and past right in front of us. Great anticipation skills!
Amazing day and memories to last a lifetime. Thanks Super Mario! 😄

On December 14th, we were invited to join a trip to Kruger Park, to celebrate Ursula's birthday. Mario was our guide for the funfilled day. We saw 4 of the Big 5 before 12. On our way to exit the park, we finally saw Buffalo, cooling down in one of the waterholes. Big 5 done and dusted! Mario has such a nice sense of humor. When you travel with Mario you can experience the passion he has for Wildlife.
